Calls every day from this number about pension payout.
Sounds like a scam to me. I always put the phone down.

i really don't answer these calls when the come in. When they leave a 'message' I just delete. Never used to get so many of these calls, what's caused the sudden rise, I wonder?

So who is registered with this number? Can they be identified?

I don't normally swear but these [***] piss me off ! I am very busy and disabled so every day life is harder work and then these pigs interrupt me then when I answered the phone there is no one there. When I try the ring tone  it instigates a message been left, so I waste even more time doing this when I do 1571 guess what no message. Swines I hate them with a vengeance.

I know how you feel. Just got a prerecorded call from this lot.  There is a way to fight back.   All silent and prerecorded texts and calls should be reported to the Information Commissioners Office.  They are taking action against the companies responsible and recently fined two men £440,000.  Reporting is easy, you don't need the calling company's name, only the number that called.  You don't even need to leave personal info if you don't want.  I now report every one of these calls and if we all do that, we can get it stopped.

'Pensions reclaim' seems to be the new PPI reclaim.
According to their records, I am due a £1000 bonus on my pension .... yada yada yada.. Their records are worthless then (ie.non existent) because I've never had a private pension.
Like Nan above, I now report EVERY one of these calls to the ICO, because the more reports they get, the more likely they are to do something about it.  The tide has to turn sooner or later, & all cold calling be banned.

It looks like the message about reporting these calls is getting through.  When I went to make a report earlier "Complain to the ICO" had moved up to second place on Google!

I have received 2 calls recently from this no telling me if i'm under 60 I'm entitled to £1000 bonus and to press 5 to claim this money. As it happens im over 60 and have ignored message anyway but it really is disgraceful to think these people can get away with it and some people will believe this. I am supposedly registered  with PTI which is supposed to protect you from nuisance phone calls, but these people are ignoring this and I believe it is against the law!

I was called today by this number. I t was a recorded message. I am registered with TPS and they are breaking the law calling me. If anyone knows how I can get them prosecuted  please put details here. I hate the filth.

Recorded call from "The Pension Helpline" about my Private Pension Bonus of £1000 as I was under 60. Dial 5 to talk, 9 to unsubscribe. Dialled 5. Soon as she asked me to confirm I was under 60, I told her I wasn't and that's why I'd rung. She sounded genuinely sorry and surprised. I said I was registered with TPS and would like her name and number. "Oh, you would, sir ? Hold on . . " Line went dead. 1471 gave 0121 667 2481

This number has called me several times in recent days, as early as 0630hrs in the morning and as late as 2245hrs in the evening.
I have now reported them to the tps, as I am listed and yet they still persist.

Just had a similar call.  I checked on 1471, then entered the first four digits 0121 and hesitated.  It apparently referred to the Birmingham area.

This number hung up when intercepted by truecall. Fortunately judging by what this site says about them. Another scam foiled. Zap them.

This company call at least twice  day with the recorded message regarding my private pension. I do not have one.

Got a call from this number this morning, not for the first time. A recorded message asking me to follow various options to claim for non-existent pension refund. Must be some way of stopping these nuisance calls - I am already registered with the Telephone Preference Service, who seem completely ineffectual in these cases.

They called again today. Left no message. I usually get on average 3 to 6 calls a day from some people who don't leave a message or their telephone number! This is a ridiculous situation. I wish that someone in authority had the power to stop this harassment!

received a call (recorded message) from this number today saying i was 60 or under and was due a refund of £1000 on my pension.    I hung up when they asked to me press 5 for further information, although i was tempted.    I am well into my 60's so assumed that this was a scam or they would have know how old i am so do the next best thing and google it, glad i did.   Thanks to other people who are plagued by these calls we can double check that this is a scam. but I agree with Anna and think there might be a lot of older people out there who fall for this, is there anything that can be done to stop these calls.
