Here we go again!!!!! - When will these idiots realise - that we are not interested!!!!
(I bet they are all young kids 'brain-washed into believing they have an excellent job - wrong!!!!!!
They are 3rd party companies which try their luck by obviously purchasing phone lists, and keep ringing until they get an interested party - then they forward to PPI claim companies for a commission!!!!!

Please take my advice - If you don't know the number - don't answer, check on here and find out. If it is a reputable company you can ring them back!!! If you find out it is one of these nuisance numbers, leave it well alone - because I am sure as soon as you answer they pass your numbers on.

Also be very careful who you give your number to!!! Companies may look as if they are innocently taking your number for their records, but really they just pass them on!!! (I entered a competition on TV via the website and ever since I have been inundated with emails from all sorts!!! - be warned!!!!)

I had a recorded message from this number claiming to be from DWP who said I was entitled to a £1,000 bonus, press 5 to process my claim.  Hung up as DWP do no know I have a landline phone these are scammers.  DO NOT PRESS 5.  Report it to ICO  Tel 0303 123 1113 or report it to the Police Action Fraud line on 0300 123 2040 they will give you advice and a ref nomber.

Received the same message as David (23 Jan) just now.  Report the Number to ICO..  They seem to be the only organisastion that might do something about this if they have enough complaints.  Registering with TPS is a waste of time for these type of "automated" calls.

Yet another pension scam. They stated that as you are under 60 you are entitled to £1000. press 5 etc... I am over 65 so fat chance. Scam. how can I stop these calls?

Same old pension scam message from a different number. Do not press 5 or 9 but report to ICO. If more people did so they may get fined or shut down.

It's a "pensions services company" (or so they claim to be). If you answer the call you will get a recorded message about pension claims and to press 5 to start the ball rolling or press 9 to unsubscribe.
Pressed 5 to find out who they were. When I asked, the reply was "a pensions services company". I then asked "working for who?" and they immediately hung up.
Being ex-directory and TPS registered clearly makes no difference to these scumbags.

TPS does not deal with prerecorded calls and texts.  Thia is stated on their website.  That type of call should be reported to the Information Commissioner's Office.  They are working hard to stop these pests and recently fined two men £440,000 for operating a calling set up.  Reporting is easy on the ICO website and you don't need the caller's name, just the phone number.  You don't even need to leave personal infor it fyou don't want to.

This was a recorded message with a lying piece of scam scum telling me that their records  show that I am entitled to a pension refund of £1000, and telling me to press 5 to speak to someone, or 9 to unsubscribe.  What is the point of being registered with TPS when these lying cheating parasites are allowed to continue their pestering?

this is the 3rd call this week from nuisance callers. my mam is over 90 has not had a loan so cant claim ppi, does not have a private pension. wish these companies would leave her alone. reported on ico

About the tenth time this number has called something about a pension bonus, wish I could get back at these people, this despite being on TPS, BT say to just pick up the phone and not press any buttons.

From whom? Regarding eligibility for £1,000 top-up to my pension as I am a certain age. Hung up quickly and dialled 1471 to get this number. SCAM.

this lot have started calling my ex=directory line. Its always a recorded message, so I can't even get the satisfaction of telling them where to get off!
