this number keeps calling me, please tell me who it is.

asking for Sharon Topping and being stupid making noises etc!!

I thought to re dail the number.  It's always seems to be ingaded t
it's rather annoying!  Anyone who makes funny noises simply get a f off & hear a slam!

I had a silent call from this number about 5 mins ago. I did exactly the same as Hayley and called back, but number was persistently engaged.

This number called and a man (sounded Indian) said he was from the "Debt Advice Bureau". Have had a number of calls also from 0301 also claiming to be the "debt advice bureau". I always put the phone down. I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service, but they seem powerless! The 0161 prefix is listed as a Manchester number.

Just had a silent call from this number, weird that there was no attempt to sell me some [***].

ive just tryed ringing it back and im getting the "the number you dialed has not been recognised, please check and try again" message.

Strange.

I've just had another call from them 5 mins ago. My answering machine picked it up, but they left no message (surprise surprise). When I redial the number I'm just getting a disconnected line tone. I'm x-directory and registered with the TPS but constantly get calls like this.

I have also had a good few calls from this number, over the weekend and also this morning, I have managed to call the number back but it seems to auto answer and all you hear is what sounds like a call centre in the background but cant be real sure but I have not been able to talk with anyone.

I've had about 8 calls in the past few days I keep telling them to stop ringing but the seem to keep ringing.

On Friday I had 3 phone calls from them!

They best stop ringing me! I'm not happy!

I've had 3 calls today and I expect to receive more.  I am registered with TPS and am ex-directory.

Have also just received a call (heavy incident accent), saying he was part of as governement scheme to help with unsecured debts

Just would not take no for an answer, so hung up on him

They are calling me on my work number!  How they have got that is beyond me!

Just had a call at work; indian accent; talking about a government debt scheme. Asking for me or my wife.

Just received a call from this number. It takes a while for someone to speak and therefore I presume it's from overseas (India for a guess). They stated that they're from the "Debt Advice Bureau" and wanted to know if I was the home owner and whether I had a mortgage.

I swiftly told them that it was non of their business, that I was registered for the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and requested that they didn't call again. They hung up.

I've had dozens of calls from this number which have been picked up by my answering machine. No meesages had been left.

this guy needs stopped, called me about 20 times in a week, worse I'm out of work waiting for important calls, really getting p...ed off

I have just had a couple of calls from this number although both were silent. I have also had many calls from 0301 with a foreign sounding person saying they were calling from the 'Debt Advice Bureau'. I am quite tempted to go along with it for long enough to find out who they really are so that I can report them (although I'm not sure to whom)

We just had a call from this guy too, he started by asking to speak to the person who is responsible for our phone number, then waffeled a load of bull about a government scheme so I had to stop him in his tracks and ask where is he calling from, got the same "Debt advice something" and when I asked to speak to his supervisor/boss he said "There all on a break right now"

lol, yeah right...

Were actually reporting them to their telephone service provider "Gamma Telecommunications"

Gamma dont want to do dick about this and say it has to be reported to your own telephone provider as a nusance call, who then will report it to Gamma themselves...

What a wonderful world we live in where communications companies just dont want to talk...

Just had a call from this number what a pain they keep ringing me and suggesting wife swapping etc

I have just got a call from this number as well.  And checked the call log for today and had one missed call.  This number has dialed me a number of times in the past few week and always hangs up on answering.

I have also had calls from Debt Advice and I have just told them I dont owe a bean to anyone, the person on the other end seemed confussed.  

I have had to tell my 8yr old not to pick the phone up to that number.
