This company have been calling me at all hours of the day since last Sunday.
Apparently Crystal Debt Advisory Services,offering substantial loan to clear debts.I told them I wasn't interested and asked where they got my number as I'm registered with TPS.Still ringing me,do not appear to understand "NOT INTERESTED!!"

Guy was a lying [***]. I pretended that I'd been turned down by a company before, he said that's why they'd called. Would have been quite convincing I suppose if I'd been saying the truth.
Makes me worry about all the people who might fall for this stuff.

He called back and said "So you're the kind of person who lies are you"?!?!
WTF?!?!

I'm almost tempted to use their services now due to the polite and friendly manner of their staff....

I have had these idiots ring my number and ask for people who don't even live in the house, my wife spoke to one of these callers and told him that the person was not at this address and then asked my wife if he could speak to her she told him not to call again guess what we have had morre calls

They keep calling.  I've spoken to my phone company and there is nothing they can do.  They think calling the police is the only possible way to get rid of them.  Is it illegal to lead these pests down the garden path and give them bogus details?  Might have to change my phone number to get rid of them.

If anyone finds a way to rid themselves of this telephonic disease please post the solution!

he rang asked me if i had any debts said yes i owed 217 thousand pounds to 17 different companies asked how much i paid each month said i dont im trying to get into more debt he then asked me if i wanted a unsecured loan i said yes il have a loan for 200 thousand for some strange reason he hung up amused me no end

had three calls off these people today the last time i asked to speak to a manager so they put the phone down on me.next time am gonna tell them im dead

Man with indian accent phoned my home three times wednesday evening in the space of an hour and a half even though my husband who took all three calls told him we were not interested, my husband put the phone down on him.This evening he calls looking for me and within a few seconds i told him i wasnt interested and said about the calls the evening before, he then started shouting abuse at me and said i was a liar.I am very shook up and thought i would come online to look up his company which he called the Crystal debt advisory agency and look what i find. I am about to call BT and complain i am also on a preferred calling list and he should not be calling this number.I am also going to lodge a complaint with the police for harrasment and abuse.I will find out who he is hopefully.

this number keeps calling and asking for me they say they are debt advice i told them that i'm not interested but they keep calling they dont seem to understand the word no thanks

Have you people who are registered with TPS let them know about this? I've been advised to do that. Have also passed it on to Trading Standards. The police already know it's happening but can;t do anything.

An Indian man called and asked for the owner of the house, I told him to remove my number from their list and he hung up. I am registered with TPS. I tried to call back, but got Mrs BT saying 'the number you have dialled has not been recognised'. Annoying

Good day all.  I have only had one call today.  They didn't say anything for 5 seconds so I hung up.  This seems to have worked so far today.

As for TPS, I registered with them ages ago and things dried up for a few months.  However, this number has recently sprung back into life.  I got rather irrated with them yesterday so today I had a little plan.  Unfortunately I was in the bath when they rang, so I couldn't play with them as I intended.

I've reached that point that if the phone providers can't do anything, TPS doesn't work with illegitimate companies and the police (apparently) can't do anything, we may as well play with them for our own amusement!

It appears that they use out of date lists for names, so if you've not had your line that long (only a couple years or so) all they know is your dialling code.  They think I live at the other end of liverpool.... I got the post code of the previous owner of my line out of them. All I need if the house number and I can send someone a Christmas card!

These have just called me on 0844 8466 519 after I said what do you want they hung up but introduced themselves as crystal debt advisory they had been calling on the 0161 number

Same as above have had nothing but lovely calls from Crystal Debt Advisory asking for someone who doesnt even live in this house, lucky for me being a woman they dont bother me to much but when my husband picked up the phone yesterday to them they asked if he was Alan which he is not. When my husband told them no he isnt Alan the person started shouting you lair (indain person of course)

What will give these sh*theads the message no means no... and i'd love to know how the police can do nothing they are meant to be the police arn't they sop crime and stuff... fooking place is going to hell!

Got called by indian sounding bloke3 times yesterdayand once by indian sounsing woman, each time called from 01612412080. then called again this morning by the same indian sounsing bloke but from number 08848466519.

Keep asking to speak to person who had the phone number before me, i've had it for 3 years so he must be using an old list. Explained the person they are trying to speak to is no longer on this number and hasn't been for a number of years, they then tried to explain to me about their debt service. I politely explianed that they have called a number thats on the TPS register and to kindly remove it from their database. 5 times i have asked them to do this and each time they say sorry and hang up.

No doubt i will hear from him again, my plan is to start reading from the indian takeaway menu by the phone. lets see if that works..

I have had several calls from this number in the last few days. Like with ALL call centres, there will be a slight pause after you answer, and my suggestion to ALL of these types of calls is to hang up!

At 16:11 hrs on Monday 16th November 2009, I received a call from an 'Indian Sounding' male claiming to be from "Crystal advicd bureau" enquiring about any debt we may have. The callers number was 0161-241-2080 however when I called the number back to obtain their address details in order to report them to the telephone preference scheme, the number was not recognised. The number is a Manchester prefix. I informed the Indian male to remove my details from their system and not to call again, his response was to be very short with me and hang up.

I had a call at home today from an asian sounding bloke and he said is Mr Gerrard there...

I said "No doesnt live here, he plays for Liverpool mate"

He said "What is your name then".
I replied "Bob".
He said "Bob what"
I replied "Carolgees".
He said "How much debt are in Bob"
I replied "Im to the tune of approximately 25 million in debt".
He said "25 million??" "Can you send me a bank statement and Ill try to help you"!!
I replied (after nearly pissing myself) "Fu** Off and dont ring me again"

I look forward to their next call!

get a few calls from this number, always hang up upon answering.  i do get a few calls from the 'debt advisory place' from some foreign guy, have asked for my name to be taken off the list but still the calls come through, even though we are ex directory and tps registered.  pains in the butt!!
