Anyway, thank god I didnt go here, as the price did seem too good to be true, and about 1/2 price of Ikea on Ikea's cheaper range - and I'm sure without installation and 25 year gurantee!

I'm sure its all part of the same scam - i didn't get these calls and emails before i put my details on that website (via a facebook ad/liked page)

B&Q quoted me 12k for appliances, units and galaxy granite worktop, supply only. For stilhaus equivalent their rep Robert who apparently drove down to watford from Portsmouth quoted me 6.6k for the same but also included fitting. By the time he finished his pitch i said "thank you for your time i'll be in touch". he then said he needs a yes(£200 deposit) or no now at which point all the alarm bells began ringing and i sent him on his way. As he was leaving he said i should save his number and call him when i am ready. Which means he didnt require a yes or no immediately. I'll just bullet point all the alarm bells that screams scam at me:
1. Main advertising outlet is facebook
2. Website is minimalistic
3. They call u very quickly after filling out form
4. They call from private number
5. They send out rep same day
6. Rep says you must put down deposit immediately and that he travelled from Portsmouth even though they advertise a london branch on their site and that he would not have time to come back again as it would mean him cancelling other appointments and them losing business. Wen in actual fact if your neighbour were to call tomorrow i guarantee he would be there.
7. Based on point 6 they are full of [***]
8. Prices are too good to be true
9. Rep told me they are so cheap because they own a forest in china so the wood is free lol
10. Rep has a folder that says lancashire kitchens or something of the sort on it. He showed me nothing that actually said stilhaus.
11. From what i know Vince Miller aka the kitchen gangster is Lancashire based. Google him.
12. Rep tried to convince me i liked the kitchen he was pitching and blind me with the low price.
Other than the things ive listed i have no evidence that they are scammers but i just feel i would be a fool to hear so many alarm bells ringing and ignore them. - Kaainat replies to StokeOMG!!!! That is the guy i was expecting a couple of days back. And its the same mobile number. But luckily for me i read all the comments in time and didnt let him in. They had spammed almost every newspaper and magazine in the UK with positive posts regarding the kitchens. Several real posters, with complaints, mentioned Kitchens Uber paperwork involved with Stillhaus Kitchens. You have now, by posting on here confirmed the fact that they are one and the same. We therefore have the Vance Miller connection, don't we, and we all know where that leads.

I am thinking about having a kitchen from this company Stilhaus Kitchens as I have already had the designer out who quoted me £1100 for a kitchen that Howdens wanted £3000 for and b and q wanted £3100 for. I obviously have decided to do some research on this company before I part with my money. They have asked me for no deposit and are willing to deliver the kitchen without payment which to be honest I think is a wonderful thing and something that I have never ever come across before whilst doing business. During my investigations into this company I have come across what is obviously competitors of this company posting fake comments in a bid to discredit them. On a Facebook page called the Ferrit which can also be found when you search Stilhaus Kitchens there was a guy called Lee Jones who came on saying that he had been to their showroom and that it did not exist and this guy stayed on that forum for weeks and weeks posing as a real customer but he was eventually exposed and proved to be the owner of a kitchen company called Speedy Kitchens. In my opinion then if competitors are willing to spend valuable time slandering other companies then it must be because they are scared of them and cannot compete legitimately with them.
If I do not go with Stilhaus Kitchens then I stand to lose £1900 and if I do go with them I stand to lose nothing because if I dont like what I see when it arrives then I just send it back ,so all I have to lose is a little time.So you having said what you have said in response to Amy Marshalls post and me having said what I have said it leads me to want to check out your legitimacy. In order for me to understand you more could you please answer the following questions.
1. Have you bought a kitchen from Stilhaus Kitchens?
2. How does a customer services representative posting a comment which clearly showed that she was trying to help prove that this company is linked to some guy called Vance Miller?
3. Why is it that within two hours or so of this customer services lady posting a comment that was trying to help the customer was you on the forum with negative comments regarding her concerns?
I am sorry if I doubt you but your comments just dont make any sense at all and I therefore doubt your reasons for posting.

It's crazy to think that Stilhaus would have been better off not offering assistance to the customer that needed help than if they did . Which they did. I don't know how familiar you are with this site but it is basically to report unknown, unwanted and scam calls and share information. You might therefore ask yourself why someone would imput a company telephone number onto a site like that just to leave a positive review. It doesn't stack up. As the posts continued it was discovered that Stilhause Kithens had made positiver reviews on various local newspapers from Devon to Cumbria as well as in specialist magazines like those for Golf and Fishing. All these reviews took to form of letters from the same person who had opened the thread on here. During the course of several other posts the name Kitchens Uber appeared. Kitchens Uber is one of several kitchen companies owned by one Vance Miller who has made regular appearances on Watchdog and has left a trail of dissatisfied customers across the North West and beyond. The post I responded to on here was with regard to the connection between Kitchens Uber and Stilhaus Kitchens. My only interest in this or the other thread is to ensure that people have all available information before committing themselves. It is then up to the person concerned whether they proceed or not.

Before I begin my comments on this very interesting subject I would just like to state that just like 90% of the people commenting here I also have not bought a kitchen from Stilhaus Kitchens.
I think that many of , infact most of the comments on here are utter nonsense. Let me explain why I have formed this opinion.
First of all there is a comment on here from someone called Nan that is questioning why anyone would input a company telephone number on a site like this just to put a positive review. Well first of all this is a completely nonsense comment from Nan as there is absolutely no need what so ever to have to enter a phone number on this site to stumble across this thread.I myself did not come across this thread because I entered a phone number in. I saw an advert on Facebook for this company and decided to look deeper into them. I merely entered the words Stilhaus Kitchens into google and this thread was sat there looking at me. So Nan your comment is completely and utterly nonsense.
Nan also states that his eye was caught by this thread because it started with a positive post for Stilhaus Kitchens which again is utter nonsense as this thread started two and a half years ago about a company called Uber Kitchens. The first mention that I can see on this thread of Stilhaus Kitchens was in August of last year from a guy called Tom Meade and it was not positive at all but was infact from a guy who says that the company is a scam because their prices are too good to be true as they were half the price of Ikeas cheaper range. So once more this means that Nans comment is again utter nonsense. Not only does it prove that Nan is talking nonsense but what a crazy comment here from Tom Meade that because a company is offering a kitchen for half the price of another company that this is evidence that it is a scam.This guy even thanks God that he didn't go there because the price was too good to be true.Am I hearing correctly here? So if the Stilhaus price was double the price of Ikea then that would make things ok? I'm confused to say the least.
Nan goes on to explain in his last comment how this site works and how one would come across it. Complete nonsense as I have previously explained. If anyone isn't to familiar in how one would come across this site then it's Nan himself. So how can he lecture on the workings of this site. He seems to imply by his nonsense comments that it is ok for someone to stumble across this site and put negative comments on but if they stumble across it and put on a positive review then it must be questioned as it doesn't stack up in his words.
Then we have someone called Opijni who again just attacks people who put positive reviews on here about this company. What Opijni over looks is the fact that complaints about Stilhaus Kitchens do not keep popping up and surely that is what this thread is now about.It's not about some bloke called Vance Miller but is now about a kitchen company called Stilhaus Kitchens and there is not one, yes not one single complaint on this thread about Stilhaus Kitchens that wasn't met with an employee of Stilhaus offering assistance, not one.

Well I think that you need to look at this whole thread and you will see that it is all smoke and mirrors because at first sight it looks like Stilhaus is a company that does not address it's problems but when one looks deeper into this thread one can see that Stilhaus Kitchens do infact address their problems very professionally.
There has only been one mention of a complaint on here about Stilhaus Kitchens and that was from some lady that cannot even speak English correctly which poses the question is she real or just some eastern European spammer employed to discredit this company, especially in the light of the fact that when the customer services girl from Stilhaus offers her assistance she just disappears. I personally do not know what more Stilhaus could have done in this situation. The owner even responds by giving out his personal telephone number. Could you imagine the managing director of Ikea doing that?
So let's get back to this Vance Miller bloke.I have no idea whether he is connected to this company or not and quite frankly do not care. Everyone slated Freddie Laker for offering cheap flights [competitors I'm sure] but I dont recall any of his planes crashing. Let's ask ourselves one serious question though. If he is so bad at providing kitchens and he is connected to Stilhaus Kitchens then why has this thread only attracted one complaint regarding Stilhaus? Yes just one. One more question. If he does not address his problems then why did his customer services girl offer assistance to that complainant?

The very fact that this company has only attracted one complaint which was addressed professionally is surely credit to this company.

I am going to have to sum up my findings now as other wise I will just go on and on.
My investigation into this company has come up with the following reasons not to do business with them.
1. They charge 6k for kitchens that B&Q want 12k for and they will throw in the fitting for free
2.They charge half the price of Ikeas cheaper range
3. You only pay them after delivery
4.They have only attracted one complaint.
5.Prices are too good to be true.
