Report a phone call from 02076197597 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- PhilippaThey have called me over 20 times in the last 5 days! It's pretty much harrassment!
- Caller: Listen - UK Chairty
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Jane PInteresting you should say it was a charity. I donated via text when Robbie Williams held that Unicef charity football match a couple of months ago. A few days later Unicef rang me to ask if I would consider making a regular donation. I declined. I won't be donating via text again - except Comic Relief because they don't pester you! This number has rung again (8/8) but I missed the call.
- BertI answer but just don't say anything!! They'll soon get fed up lol

- Matt| 1 replyWhen this number called me (three times in under a week!), it was on behalf of the RSPCA.
- Matt replies to MattI've just called them on the same number, and the message says that you've been called by "Listen, on behalf of a charity".
- MaryThis number has been continually called - they say they are calling on behalf of a charity called Listen. A man with a Georgie accent asks you to call another number if you dont want the calls and give the reference GEN. Ive now done that twice. The recording states that you may still get calls for 3 working days. My mother in law is a vulnerable adult. I answered a similar call about guaranteeing her satellite tv dish. She had given her bank details (prior to my husband becomingher power of attorney) to 14 such companies. We thought we had dealt with all of them but still had a call from 02393012131 - I told the man 'Shane' that we werent interested but sure enough through the post a week later we got a contract and 5. 75 had already been taken, without authorisation from her bank account.
I hope this 'charity ' Listen, is genuine because if not and they have peoples bank account details it is really important that you check them out in case they are actually doing the same scam.
When they called yesterday it was a silent call according to my mother in law. Today this person actually asked for my brother in law who moved out about 10 years ago at least.- Caller: Listen on behalf of a charity
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- CinnabarI started receiving these calls after I donated a small sum of money to a charity called Plan UK (http://www.plan-uk.org/what-we-do/campaigns/b ... ved/girls-fund/). I haven't answered any of them as I have always missed their calls but assume that they want to follow up with a request for a regular contribution.
- Caller: Plan UK (I think)
- JSGetting calls every couple of days. Answered first time and they said as I had previously donated via phone for an event (think it was soccer aid) would I be interested in making a regular gift aided contribution to a charity. I said no but they keep calling...... won't donate again by phone on any future event if this is what happens. Shame on the companies who coordinate these events for letting others have our numbers!
- Caller: not known
- LouiseI got a call from this number this morning, asking to speak to Mr Beale. Mr and Mrs Beale apparently used to have my phone number and it got recycled to me about 3 years ago. I'm constantly getting sales calls for the Beales even though my phone number is registered with the TPS.
When the woman phoned this morning and asked for Mr Beale I said "hold on" then put the phone on the side and left her hanging on for five minutes. She eventually hung up!- Caller: unknown
- SarahMissed Call. I don't subscribe to charities so no idea who they'll be working for
- Bourbonator replies to Tommy| 1 replyHaving worked there, we aren't paid on commission. We get paid a set fee and It's clearly great that Listen get paid or else they'd never raise millions of pounds for charity.
- Chortle replies to FedupAnd they'd laugh and think to hell with ya 'I'm still getting paid"
- Chortle replies to JanetCWell SC and AC are how you set up direct debits and they're safe details. There's nothing to beware of, people just need to move with the times!
- patsyI need this to be cancelled
- Caller: Listen charity
- SarahHere we go again 5th call since the first. Not even signed up to anything recently
- Therese GI have at least two calls a day from this number since end of July 2012, drives me nuts and I dont know how to stop it, I did phone back once early on and it went onto a recorded message, I hung up immediately. Ive searched the internet to find out how to stop it coming through as my mobile cant block numbers, any help would be very much appreciated.
- Therese G replies to BourbonatorI have read your message and it says you worked for this company? forgive me if I am wrong, perhaps you could direct me on how to stop the calls coming through please.
- Shirley DI continue to get calls from 02076 197597 which I don't answer. I have added the name to my contacts as 'Don't answer', so I know not to when it rings I had to google the number to find out where the number came from and having been lead to this site I can only assume it to be a children's charity which I made a text donation to last Christmas and from which I have had a couple of calls earlier in the year but told them on each occasion it was inconvenient to call. I think that the numbers are rung at random by computer and if answered are patched through to an operator, which explains why people cannot ring them back or get nothing at times when they do answer.

- Mark| 1 replyIt's a fundraising telemarketing agency called Listen. In my case they were calling on behalf of the RSPCA, who I'd donated to a couple of days ago by SMS after seeing one of their posters on a train. It's what's known as a cash-to-committed conversion campaign - calling someone who's given a one-off donation and trying to convince them to set up a monthly direct debit. I happen to work in the fundraising department of another charity that uses Listen.
- Caller: Listen (on behalf of RSPCA)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- perioik replies to MarkSee http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-an ... hree-years.html, where Listen is named as one of the companies owned by the parent company. The Sunday Telegraph in this article says they should be more transparent.
