These half-wits call me frequently - I have reported them on the Ofcom website ( http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/tell-us/telecom ... /?itemid=284912 ) If they get enough complaints about one number they will investigate and with the recent change in the law they will get quite a hefty fine.
I also call them back during my free call time, using 141 and load their answer phone with music and msg's from my sponser.

You have been lucky - the calls I get are never silent. I wish the Ofcom site were clearer. TPS service seems to be ineffectual, still get them from India. Sales callers masquerading as bogus health centre surveys or other is a loop hole that needs closing.

These people phoned my sister today and asked for me by name. I don't live there, so how did they make the connection. It's frightening to think they have access to our phone details, or worse, our medical records

Bing, I'm not sure why but the above numbers are not full telephone numbers. The are missing 2 digits!

This Wellness company are also now using a "withheld number" system.

May I suggest receivers of a calls from this or any unsolicited company do what I always do: ask the caller to wait for a moment and then come back with a saucepan and a saucepan-lid. Bang erratically for a few moments and hey presto! they are gone.
These guys usually have headphones on so the sound is a full-frontal assault to the ears!
    Works every time...

And it leaves me with a very satisfied feeling :D

You're right. This particular whois service provider's phone number digit field is not long enough for the number because 44 has been included. I did find the full number on another, but can't remember which one, and will look it up over the weekend when the grandchildren have left! I have a post-it note stuck on my screen with 0208 588 9131, but that points to Goldshield in 2007 where Mr Patel used to be before he set up Sanda. Perhaps Previn will be able to help. I'm not surprised that they are withholding their numbers now that there are so many NHS scam warnings around and complaints on here. The list of numbers I have at present are:

I will see what I can do Bing. Doesn't ring a bell. What I do remember that Goldshield and Sanda had an agreement to share a call-centre in India. Reputable companies never withhold their numbers so there has to be some mistake!

Sanda Wellbeing & Goldshield Indian Call Centre Sharing Agreement:

    From Press Release: www.goldshield.hemscott.com/news-item?item=45709189584067

Disposal of certain Indian business and assets

To enable the business to focus both management time and the full resources of
Goldshield on its Pharmaceutical and Healthcare businesses, it has been decided
that the Company will dispose of certain of the non-core Indian businesses and
also to outsource the development of the Wellbeing Healthcare villages and
resort in Goa. The sites identified by the Company will be retained pending
receipt of the planning approvals at which time they will be co-developed.

Ajit Patel has expressed an interest in acquiring these non-core assets and has
entered into a heads of agreement with Goldshield, summary details of which are
    set out below.

Ajit Patel, or a company controlled by him, will purchase the entire issued
share capital of Goldshield Business Solutions Private Limited (GBSPL), an
Indian incorporated wholly owned subsidiary of Goldshield for a consideration of

INR 110 million (approximately £1.4 million). The consideration will be payable
in cash on completion and will be applied to general corporate purposes. GBSPL
will be required by 28th February, 2008 to change its name to Sanda Business
Solutions and the Goldshield name will revert to the Company.

The gross assets of GBSPL are £1.1 million and the profits attributable to the
division of GBSPL after the apportionment of Group overheads for the year to
    31st March 2007 were £0.2 million.

In addition to the sale of GBSPL, Goldshield and GBSPL have entered into an
agreement whereby GBSPL will agree to occupy at least 110 seats at Goldshield's
call centre at Akruti, Mumbai and Goldshield will occupy an equivalent number of
seats at GBSPL's call centre at Verna, Goa. Each company will pay the same cost
per seat to the other and the agreement will stay in force for a minimum of 18
months and is subject to a minimum of a six months' notice of termination. The
purpose of this arrangement is primarily to avoid the need for substantial
    relocations of staff.

Goldshield believes that whilst the Indian Wellbeing Villages and resort no
longer form part of the core strategy of the Company, they still have some long
term potential. The Company has decided that it does not wish to allocate
further significant funds to develop these assets. However, it does wish to
retain its existing interests which will be realised when the Directors believe
that shareholder value has been maximised. As part of this strategy, the Company
has also agreed in principle to use its reasonable endeavours to enter into a
joint venture with Ajit Patel to develop care villages on the Guirdolim and
Camurlin sites in Goa, or, if the Board decides to sell these sites, a right of
first refusal for Ajit Patel to acquire them at market value.

Finally, as part of the above arrangements, Ajit Patel, who owns 3.3 million
ordinary shares in the Company, has agreed for a period of one year not to sell
80 per cent. of his current holding and to only sell the remaining 20 per cent.
through the Company's brokers under an orderly market arrangement.

Not the Wellness whatever! I just asked who's calling? and they gave up, but I worry that someone else will fall for this. Why o why can't these criminals be stopped, we know their number, so bt know where they're based - they should be shut down and the perps arrested, charged and castrated! :D

Just had a call from this number by a man who kept calling me 'love' and then started to ask me questions about my health.
Ironically I would not have been here to take the call, but I am off work with a sore throat and cold.
I told him that I didn't answer personal questions to somebody I didnt know and put the phone down.

I can't believe that someone would actually answer these type of questions to a complete stranger - very annoying nevertheless

    Dear Mr N,

No, this is not an email collection exercise for spamming but a customer route that can be utilised by people who have a genuine complaint which needs rectifying.

By all means set up a disposable hotmail account to use but until we can communicate directly with you and not in an uncontrolled and completely open forum it is difficult to rectify any issue you have.

Bali is the Chairmans PA who has the authority to work with you and get your details suppressed from the system to avoid future calls..

I hope this clears up any confusion and look forward to hearing from you on complaints@sandawellbeing.com
    Kind regards

    Head of UK Compliance.
