- BubblesI had a call from a very pushy forigne man. He was rude told me i dod not understand what he was saying. Iafter asking him several times the point of the call was that he would require remote access to my pc and then payment. He contiued on and then when i explained that none of the above was going to happen he was abusive and after calling off he then rang back 3 more times. The last time i told him to tell me his name and that i would then report him to the police. He needless to say stopped the calls. I was disqusted by the call and his attitude and would be concerned if he called an older person who beleived all they where told.
I would not recommend these people to any one and adviose to hang up as soon as they start talking.- Caller: /www.click2fixs.com/

- jimbo replies to VictorIt's a scam!! They called someone who was an IT engineer and tried to get him to allow them on his PC, and questioned them closely to find that they put so-called corrupted files on your machine then charge to get them off.
They called me and said that Microsoft are PC makers and Windows is separate firm - so they''re ignorant as well. - lindamarilynclick2fixs.com tel. no. 02088199744
Very convincing scam claiming to get rid of virus in our area entering through the internet gateway.
I started to be convinced and going through their process, then alarm bells started to ring and I disconnected.
I got another phone call saying I must reconnect.
I said it was a scam and would not continue.
John, who had a strong accent, continued to argue that it was not a scam until I put the phone down on him.
I see now that this scam has been going on for a while but it continues in 2011.

- Michael BiscegliaI received a call from this company. The person who first called was called Kate. She put me through to James Smith of an Asian sounding accent. I questioned who he was and of his very English sounding name when his Asian accent was so strong? His farther was English his mother Indian he replied. I had my suspicion but I was still encouraged and convinced he was genuine. He proceeded to lead me to an area in my laptop showing me red errors and yellow warnings. I feel so stupid having been taken in by this person. I allowed him to further direct one of his technicians called Peter Bell to remotely take control of my computer. Peter Bell did some scanning of my computer and load some software. Part way through this process I spoke with my son who Googled and found that this call was a scam. I switched my computer off. I received a call again from James Smith and told him to stop the work immediately and that I would be removing his software from my laptop. James merely enquired that I did not want the errors removed? To which I said NO. James closed the call.

- KatoEarby replies to SueI have had two friends who have received calls from Click2Fix both in the BB18 postal area. Both have thought this is a scam. I would strongly advise everyone to keep there computer safe do not let any one have remote access unless you have called them and they are a reputable company. COLD CALLERS MUST NOT BE GIVEN ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER. They can harvest your cookies and be into your personal data easily and quickly with the cookies especially if you are an internet shopper.

- ChuffinJust got a call from "Jordan" telling me my IP was flashing red on their server. My suspicions were aroused by the incoming call coming up as international whereas he told me he was calling from the UK.
When I challenged him as a scam artist he started to get shirty so I just left the phone on the table. Came back 2 mins later and he was still gibbering on. He ended up hanging up. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.- Caller: Click 2 Fix

- rosieThey claim to have been told by the computer virus check company - whichever one you use - that your computer is infected. Seemed to have the name and address as well as phone number. Dodgy English. Beware.
- GDRMy wife just had the same as Jordan - our pc flashing red on their server. As I work for a major telco, and as anything to do with the PC is in my name she was suspicious. She said I would deal with it, and told them I wasn't there at the time. They gave their number as 0208 8819 9744 and she said I would call back.
You may guess what I will be doing with their number!- Caller: Click to Fix It

- Jane CMy mother just spent an hour and a half on the phone with click2fix. They gave her the same phone number - 0208 8199744 - to call back when she ran out of time. Same story - they knew she was having internet problems and got her to change lots of things on her computer - at 79 years old she followed instructions and doesn't know what she did. She wasn't asked for money and we have used my computer to change her bank details, so I guess we now have to get her computer cleaned up.
It was just luck I phoned before she called back.- Caller: click2fix

- PamI had my second call last night from "Tom Wilson" with a strong Indian accent (he told me the company make them use English sounding names as it's easier to make people trust them) Kept him talking for 20 minutes, and told him I had reported him to the police after his last call. Advised him that I knew all the details of the company including their location and asked him if the weather was nice in Calcutta.... During the call he admitted that the call was a scam, his company were trying to get money from people, and that he didn't like doing the job!!! Told him I had recorded the call, and thanked him for the useful information confirming the scam, which I would pass on to the police, and he said he would resign from the job inmmediately. He begged me not to go to the police...and was still begging as I left the phone on the side to go and do something more useful with my time...

- WaltSame scenario as already reported: Very convincing, and professional, leading through a set of clicks to show how bad my laptop is infected. Asking when the comercial comes he just repeated that all is fine and safe and that I can see what they do via the remote access to my laptop. At that point I got very suspicous...access to ma laptop by someone I do not know. I said NO WAY. Then he gave me a phone nbr (the reported one) and said ask for James Smith....
After reading other reports I am happy not haven given access to my laptop!!!! - Sahid KalilI got a call frm this copany too, they told me my local area has "bad internet connections" and offered to fix it for free. He tried to talk me into entering command line command "eventdwr....". I declined any help and asked them not to call back.
Specifically, when I asked the agent how HE makes money, he tried to tell me it was completey free service......i don't think so!
BTW, they always withold phone numbers so you can't trace them back.- Caller: Click2fix

- AshI had a call from a person called Sam Watson on 02088199744 who spoke with an Indian accent. He told me there were problems on my hard drive and I ended up after a long conversation paying £25 for his technician to correct the problems. I now feel this is a scam and they have taken money from me.

- KayI had a call on Friday and I regret that I parted with £25 as they convinced me that my hardware had problems as when I followed their instuctions I could see red circles showing system errors. I now regret allowing them access to my computer and parting with £25. Please do not get caught in the same way as me.
