Missed call from 07094210773 yesterday. Only checked phone today. Didn't recognise number so haven't bothered to call back. Reading the posts on here, I'll not be bothering to either!

Missed calls from 07049210620 and I called the number back, each time it was a ladies voice on an answering machine saying they are unavailable, just got my phone bill and it cost me 74 pence each time I tried to call them back, DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AS ITS A SCAM.

Just received a call from a similar number, very dodgy line, kept saying hello, hello, can you hear me, then disconnected.....do not ring back, premium number that will cost a bomb!

Got the same at 15:02 today ... some idiot rings, very windy, sayd hello 3 times and hangs up.

Just missed a call from 0704 921 0672. Faint message, didnt call them back - scammers at work!

Same here - from 07049 205624 - and called me on my landline!  Just called and rung off once I'd answered...

I just got a call from 07049210760 but they put the phone down before I reached it and i tried calling back thinking it was a moblie number and it now says number not in use so obviously just a scam!

Just had a call from 07049205178 yeah that one---sounds like in a car then static with him saying can you hear me---of course i heard him,what a [***] as though i will call him back.So anyone getting a call from a mobile and you dont know the number NEVER RING THEM BACK

Got a missed call from 07049 210564, bumbly i called back without checking on here first, just got a recording saying if you want a brochure leave your name and address. It instantly hit me as a scam and hung up. There was no identification of who it was.

Yet another one, 07049 210261 called today and I couldn't find out anything about them when I plugged it into google until I googled it with the space like a mobile number. I would never call back a number I don't recognise without checking online to see who it is from as all too often it is scammers.

These 070 numbers are not mobile numbers, they are a type of premium rate number.  Your Network take a share of your money before passing the rest on to the company that owns the numbers.  These types of fraud generate millions for the Networks.  That is why Ofcom turns a blind eye.

Feint 'hello' called back = scam charge you! Be careful

I received a crackly call from someone who sounded like an old man saying, "Hello, hello, can you hear me? Can you hear me? The line then went dead. 1471 revealed I'd been rung from 0447049210237. I know no one with that number and resisted the temptation to phone back. On checking on the internet ity seems it was a scam.

044704 9205588 Just had the Hello Hello crackly line call.
Mum did 14713 called back but simply said this number is not accepting incoming calls.
Maybe new variation of the scam? BEWARE

Same as all the others someone saying hello over and over again in a distressed voice !!!.
