I just got a call from 07049205786 from a man saying hello hello.  As I am hoping from a call regarding a missing person I dialled the number back.  A voicemail suggested I leave my name and address if i would like a cataloge.  I did not of course!  However I will be watching my phone bill to look out for what just occured!  I should have looked at this site first!

Unfortunately I was expecting a call from someone and rang back more than once as the answer at the other end sounds very professional and says leave a message and they will get back to you and letting you know their marketing suite is open 7 days a week. Hope it hasn't cost me too much. I feel so silly not realising.

07049 210530 rang house and I rang number from mobile as I didn't recognise it and thought it might be important. Will I get a huge bill?

Just checked my calls online for my mobile and each call cost 64 pence.

Had a call this afternoon (15:41) from 07049-205720 and when I answered it a man said "Hello, can you hear me" and then the line was disconnected.  I obtained the number using 0147 but did not returned the call.

today i have recieved international, unavailable, and a call from 07049 area ,and this is a usual occurance on our number.

Got the same call this afternoon. I was going to ring back thinking it might be a call from a job I applied to, but I always google a number first.

Number was 07049 210043, same recording of a man saying "Hello, hello, can you hear me?" and then going dead.

if you all keep entering your numbers on this thread it is only showing up as one complaint on the data base.  To get a true picture of the scale of this problem

Got a call from 07049205465.Man says hello hello can you here me and then line goes dead..Identical caller last week so must be a scam..DO NOT ring them as will charge you above normal rate....

07049205209 is the latest to add to this scam list. Just had a call today at 17:55 that followed this same MO. Fortunately cynicism is a genetic trait of mine, so I didn't fall for this scam. ;-)

Just had a call from 07049 205 741. I'm pretty sure this is a premium rate number, so if you call back to try and see how it was, you'll be charged an extortionate rate! DON'T CALL BACK!!!

Just got a call from 07049 210272, the usual 'hello, can you hear me'. If he calls again I may just blow a very loud whistle down the phone!

just had the same call from 07049210768, "hello hello" and like a fool I did 14713 and got the message about office hours and it cuts off just before the girls says who the company is!! but I did call TELEXL and got Brian Holmes from complaints and he said it was one of their numbers and was apologetic and would look into the company that was using that number and to phone him if it happened again! oh! and it costs 50p per min from a land line if you call it back. I'm a plumber and I work for my money, I do not charge crazy prices because I have the same customers all the time. I can sleep at night, isnt it a sad world that big companys resort to this sort of underhand business?

Same here, my number is ex directory but were inundated with withheld, private number, international number or unknown number, we never answer if the number is witheld, thats why I answered this 070 number. there's some sordid creepy people in high places turning a blind eye but accepting payments and they think to say "I didnt know it was happening" is acceptable, the day is coming!
