07049 210772 called this afternoon, got caller id on the landline so if I don't know the number I don't answer. Checked up on tinternet and found that its yet another scam!

07049210789  same as all the other posts...."Hello Hello..... and cut off"...  probably hoping I'll call them back...

BT charges if you call it back:

+ 20.426 pence per min.

I just received a call from 07049 205053.. and a male voice said "Hello, hello.. crackle crackle".. click, cut off..  I guess it's another call me back scam.

07049205578 Same as above with a hello message - called back not realising it was a scam to hear a mesage from a woman stating: Please leave your telephone number and area code.

Same as the others, just a man saying Hello Hello - I made the mistake of ringing it back ! Should have googled it first !

infact ive had these calls a few times...

sounds like he is outside somewhere

Got a call from 044 7049210166 = 07049 210 166, man saying "hello, hello" on a really crackly line before the call went dead.

Looking at several other posts here 07049 210 xxx seems to occur quite frequently, so don't be tempted to call these 07049 numbers back, it'll cost you at least 50ppm.

i just had a call from this no , but when i answered he just kept saing hello

i just got a call then of the same number i did try and phone back but couldn connect

Git the call this morning exactly the same as those above - thought it might be a scam so googled and found this web page!

Another number 07049210413 exactlt the same, mad says hello, than cuts off.  I was able to call it back on works phone, but it states not a valid number.

07049 205906 just called, I answered, but caller hang up. Glad I found this website to check number! Will ignore any 07049 numbers in future.....

i had a call from 07049210312 a faint voice saying hello hello and then line went dead did 1471 got this number
They are nothing but theiving tramps and should be shut down

had a call from 07049210509 - man on other line said hello a few times on poor line then hung up.  no doubt its some sort of scam where they are hoping that you call them back, then probably charge you a fortune per minute.

They hung up when I answered

Just had a call this morning from 07049 210960, man saying hello, hello,  then can you hear me, nearly called back but did 1471, got the number which didnt recognise, so googled area code and found this site.

Same as above- man's voice saying Hello, hello- can you hear me? then line went dead

Got a call today from 07049205053 - it only rang a few times. Did not ring it back as thanks to more publicity about SCAMMERS, more householders are getting savvier about these fraudsters.  BT really should be able to do more to block them.
