Same as others got a call from a very windy location on 07049210978

How are these 'companies'/ people allowed to get away with it. If it is so obviously a scam why aren't theyiven prison sentences of 'one year per person' they call. I've just had one call as well and what sort of disgusts me is I automatically assumed it was scam....what a world we live in. By the way in my world, when they enter prison I'd have them steralised as well. we don't want anymore of 'them' running around do we?

Over the last two weeks I've had a number of calls from 07049 numbers. one gave some static and the second and third Hello then line went  dead. Obviously hoping I'd just use automatic ring back
Checked online and found it is a scam hoping you'll phone them back on at a premium rate. 50p charge for just calling the number.

Got a call from 07049 210713.
Simply said Hello, Hello, on poor quality line then hung up.
I did not call back.

Just had a call from 07049 210842. Same as other posts, Hello, hello.... line goes dead. Scam still on the rounds it seems. Pity the old folk who are getting conned by this scam. BT must be able to stop these calls!!

Just had the same thing 07049205075. We are ex-directory too, This is not the first time this has happened to us either.

Had a call from 070492 05730 last night.. on my mobile
I   I don't answer any callls unless they are already in my contacts, if import people leave a voice mail.

Got a call from 07049 210174 on my mobile. The same routine as above, a crackling line and a man saying hello, hello, then the line goes dead. I returned the call thinking it might eb a work call, and found an ansamachine saying 'we are not available on site or on another call'. Guess I've been had, did not know anythin about this scam until now.

Just had call from 07049 210647.  Did not answer then thankfully checked your site.  Last three digits different to all the others - what is going on??  Can't believe this problem cannot be tackled in today's age of technology and it looks as if the problem is going to get worse.

Had a missed call from 070492 205701 did 1471 and called back just to get what sounded like a discontinued line.  Just another scam, I thought that I had done a block on cold calls but these are still coming through, Anyone know how to block these.

17.50 last night no message left just dead air. 1471 ed - thought it was a mobile no... didn't phone it back seemed dodgy

Call from 07049 210933 - I didn't answer and no message left. I was almost going to call them back (thinking it was one of the kids' mobile PAYG) but then found this page.

Had a call of a number 07049210843 the man was also well spoken, again a poor line and said hello 3 times and the line went dead. I didn't call them back as I didn't recognise the number. I don't know how they got my number it's supposed to be exdirectory.

07049 210772 called this afternoon, got caller id on the landline so if I don't know the number I don't answer. Checked up on tinternet and found that its yet another scam!
