So many paranoid people on this thread. Its Universal credit (which is why some job centres don't know the number as its new to some towns) - its part of DWP and replacing most benefits which is why they probably need to confirm some details and ensure they aren't just paying for people to stay at home with no intentions of ever finding a job

I received this number That phone I know DWP.who they are  when your Jobs scker allownces stooped .Your legal advice Center . That people making hell.They are not good people.

I think that i was right about all of this and i have a strong feeling that i know who could behind all of this they have taken over my dead mother's house posing as my as one of my mother's middle names is brown you see i told bt infinity that one of my mother's other names was thompson as her fullname was jane thompson brown ewing and my father's middle name is sloan but i think whoever knows my mother's middle names could be behind a lot of scams as jane brown,  one of the names might be using either june brown, june burns, jane burns, or jane brown as my father's middle names called sloan as i have a cousin who every christmas time my mother always got a christmas card which it would be written to my mother as he is the only cousin in the world that sends a card stating on it to aunty jane on it as his name is john sloan as june burns and jeff cullen is using my dead mother's old house and her old phone number and has transformed all of these numbers as i have lost my bank card the last place i left it was at the dhss-dwp office in maryhill road as i discovered there is no money in my account because today i am getting phone calls where there is no message this time and it has called me three times once last night and twice today on the number 08000232635 they could be using my dead mother's house to scam more money out of someone else's bank account that is why i would like the police to do me a favour to catch them all red-handed because i have a very good idea how to deal with this and remember i am not doing this of the goodness of my health i wont rest until i have caught every single person who are all in this, i will track them down,  and then i will hunt them all down and i will bring in bountyhunter1962 to help me track them and hand them over to the law for trial and punishment,  i need help to catch them all and put qxha glasgow out of buisness permanantly because if i am right i cant afford to sleep on the streets as i am paying a visit to the dhss-dwp office tomorrow.

There was no message if there was a message i would have recorded it and used it as evedence as they are too clever for that as i know jeff cullen and june burns are all behind this as they ransacked my brother's flat after he was put into a home and then the sold eveything in the gala day for a profit to build more houses and now i think they are about to try and put me in a home now,  find an excuse to get me out of this house so they can bring a van to trash my house next as they have taken all my mother's death money so this is that i would like the dhss-dwp office, national crime agency, and the police department to help me catch some scammers in the act as i was saying i think they are going to try and bring a van to trash all my house to sell all of the things that i bought with my own money as at christmas my house blew 6 times,  my microwave oven,  my microwave grill, my urn, my boiler, my living room light is not working,  my bathroom as swarmed be beetles as i am using a big spider's web at this moment at the corner of my bathroom as i am using it as i speak there is a big spider which is sitting under my pipe behind my toilet as they put a plaque to say that this is a good close but you come up and see what is in my bathroom floor and then tell me what you think?
I think they are going to trash my house next as i leave this house there will be a van coming here to take what is value to them and sell it all in the next gala day as there is one in august and if i am right i want all their warehouses, complexes, offices, first steps and everything they own all raided until i get the people responsible of stealing all of my dead mother's money as they must have taken my bank card because i have all the transactions and every proof i need to get enough evidence to bust them all and put them out of buisness and send them all to jail to find out who stole all of my dead mother's death money,  now who was it!!!?.

If you can stop ranting long enough please pay attention.  The number which is the subject of this discussion would appear to be from the DWP regarding Universal Credit.  It has nothing to do with "taking death money" or "ransacking houses",*  As you have already been told this website is a forum for reporting unknown, unwanted and scam 'phone calls, so please take yiur rants somewhere else as they are not relevant to this discussion.

I am still getting these calls where there is no message but dont worry i have already told the department of work and pensions department everything i also have friends in the police force but i know who are doing this and they are using these numbers as cover but you and i know who else that none of us is stupid they are in here now who else knows they could have hacked into your phone calls, internet connections and the ones that i am after are using these numbers as a cover and i dont care how long it takes i am only doing this to get the chance to draw them all out i know who are all behind this and they are very clever at this because who knows they could have hacked into all of your internet connections too as i speak as i also know as you dont know the people i know have their own switchboard and they are using it to listen into peoples internet connections either on the iphone or even your laptop these calls are unwanted and they have their own switchboard will you help me draw them out and i will not rest until i have caught them because you just cant say or do anything till you actually see them all do it will you help me draw them out!.

Had a call from this number this morning asking for someone i have never heard of, googked the number and its DWP fitness for work deptartment. Someone has obviously given the wrong number as i also had a text from DWP a week ago telling  me if an interview in Luton,  miles from me ignored that as i have never applied for any type of beneft!

This is a fake caller - I am not on any benefits nor have I applied for benefits and I got the call this morning 11 May 2016 asking for my details.

A man called from 08000 232 635, the answer machine took the call. he said 'hello' twice in quick succession and then hung up. I didn't have enough time to pick the phone up. I don't sit next to the phone all day waiting for it to ring.

Hi I had a call from this number I answered I had to calls then I was told no benefit I had to sign on JSA this carnt be right

I have seen many comments saying this number is the DWP.  Just one question, have they suddenly started to work weekends?  Because, this number called me on Sunday morning and hung up just as I got to the phone.

It's the DWP. The person that telephoned me was the same as I'd spoken to via the official universal credit number earlier the same day. So much scare mongering & paranoia, surely this isn't a forum to air personal issues merely to inform as to the identity of a caller.

Same happened to me called me 2 answered both times as waiting for a call back from DWP but silence then hung up not very professional

This number has phoned me twice asking for someone else I am disabled and struggle a bit when I answer the phone and said that no one of that name is here both time's she is very apologetic but twice in the rough now ??
