Was a genuine call back from BT (left voicemail).  Mine was 100% genuine, but please remember that these numbers can be spoofed - please be cautious!

This is not bt they are a scam caller

Genuine BT number, calling back to advise that an issue had been resolved that I reported last week. I was unable to take the call and then received an email from BT 5 mins later to give me the details of the fix.

Genuine number.  Not a scam.

Confirm this number is BT 0800 028 5085.

Called me on 6th October. No idea why. It would not have got through though because I block 0800 numbers.

Harrasment calling

This is definitely BT. I spoke to them twice on this number today and both times it was for technical help following on from an online chat with BT. Beware of the number of comments saying it's a scam. It is definitely not a scam

rang bt not its not  and they dont ask you to give address either,its a huge scam to get your details and cheque direct debit and filter 5.00 off your account being run from india

I just received a call from this number asking to speak to "enter full name here" and I said speaking. Then they asked to go through security questions, which I understand, but they asked for my first name, after just saying it... I said call me back when you have better security measures and hung up. after googling it I am calling [***] and blocking the number.

BT have been calling me from this number for a couple of weeks. Every day, sometimes twice a day, chasing me for payment of what they think is an invoice but which is actually a credit note which they raised in respect of incorrect charges, which they have already refunded. It is definitely them because I have called them back numerous times on the complaints number on their website and checked the number with them. Despite the fact that 'billing' have confirmed that I owe them nothing at all (my bills are paid by direct debit) and the fact that I have made an official complaint about the calls and escalated it, these incompetent cretins continue to call. When they call again tomorrow I will be teaching them some new words.

I keep getting calls from this number 08000285085 asking me to pay my bill and now I'm getting letters I don't have an account with bt as I'm with talktalk. I have contacted bt and they have no recollection of this as they said all my bills are up to date I don't owe them anything.

Call from BT. It was genuinely BT as the message they left on my answerphone was responding to a complaint is made through the BT website with specific information included in the complaint.

I have just reported this number to a genuine BT website and they informed me that it IS A SCAM.

Messaged BT online to report rubbish wrapped around wires on telegraph pole whats causing the lines to wobble abbout much more than usual, then got three calls off this number with no one answering when I said hello.

Just received this number on my landline but did not answer the call as was a bit tired and not wanting to deal with callers today. Glad I didn't take the call and after reading the comments on here I am so glad I ignored it.

Two calls today. I missed the first, but the second was silent, so unable to confirm it was the usual "BT" lot.

Just had a call, I am in the process of changing broadband to bt, caller, Asian, Indian type accent, said that she needed to confirm my bank dd details, smelled a rat told her to call back, she gave me a number that doesn't evidently belong  to bt, bit of a nono

Just got call from this number, which I missed but 1571 say they called and didn't leave a message.

this is a genuine bt broadband technical line. I had problems and they just used this number to phone me.
