Rang me 4 times, each time they said a different reason for calling. each time they asked me for date of birth. When I questioned this they said they'd call back at another time. When I said I worked for the policeforce they put the phone down! Beware!!

Sales call from Santander in breach of the Telephone Preference Service.

Had a call from this number saying it was Santander asking me to call them back with no details of why.  As I have no account with Santander I would assume it is a scam.....avoid!

I had calls on both my landline and mobile from this number, saying it was Santander to discuss some correspondence I had sent them. I declined the call and phoned Santander, who told me it wasn’t them. Scam call

Had 2 calls today (27 April 2020) from 0800 389 0755.I missed both. Rang them back, and it was Santander Complaints calling me, as expected. So, it was a genuine call.
This call came in within seconds of a Liverpool-based call (0151) calling me. It was Saundra from Santander who I was expecting to call me. Both the 0800 and 0151 number came in at 13:24 on 27 April.

This number is both! Real and fake!!
Scammers are spoofing the number, but it is also a real number from the bank.
DO NOT give out any details as it might be scammers.
Call the bank after you get a call from this number.
Use a different phone in case the line has been left open!!
Once you call the bank with your usual number, not this one, they will confirm if it was them or not.
If you want to avoid scams like this always call the bank, never take a call as it might not be them.

This is NOT SANTANDER.....I spoke to Santander and they checked through ALL of their legitimate numbrers and this is DEFINATELY NOT ONE OF THEIRS. She advised me to block it. ABSOLUTELY IS A SCAM....BEWARE

Looks like these scammers are still active.  Had a call today, but discounted when I answered. Also a call yesterday from 01908274202 which also appears to be a scam pretending to be Santander

Had 3 calls from this number, when I dialled to return call was told Santander had call and was unable to get me. If from them why can’t they leave a message. It’s a scam call to me.

I recieved a call from this number to tell me,there was fraudulent activity on my PayPal account.I was asked to give security details.The results of the phone call have left me out of pocket and under investigation by my bank Santander
