This number will call each time and it's from Ninewells hospital Dundee.
I don't know if the nhs is using the same number?.

This is a generic number for ALL NHS Scotland. any department within NHS scotland calling will give this caller ID.

I too can verify that is is a generic number for calls from NHS Greater Galsgow & Clyde - you cannot call it back however.

Have received 3 calls from this number this morning, missed everyone. No voicemail message left.
If it's a call from NHS I'd have anticipated a voicemail being left - bit time consuming for them to repeatidly call.

I totally agree.... if we can not call it back at least have courtesy to leave a message and contact number that we can contact them on!

EXTREMELY RUDE FEMALE CALLED FROM THIS NUMBER ASKED FOR ME BY NAME - MY HUSBAND ADVISED THAT I WAS AT WORK AND NOT ABLE TO TAKE THE CALL, SHE SLAMMED DOWN THE PHONE WITHOUT EXPLAINING WHO SHE WAS OR WHERE SHE WAS CALLING FROM.
TRIED TO CALL BACK - NUMBER DOES NOT ACCEPT INCOMING CALLS, REPORTED TO OPERATOR & TPS.

worried sick now as attended hospital for tests recently, why dont they leave a message? totally unacceptable behaviour from NHS
