Talk Talk DO NOT HAVE IT so why would they ask for it?

I have had these monkeys trying to get my details for ages
once you give them your Post Code and date of birth they
can scam either you (coz with the PostCode they know you House Number)
or they can get HP in your name, they can even apply on line for your
Birth Certificate, Driving Licence, Wedding Certificate.etc.
All they have to do is crack on that you have now moved address from your
original address and all anyone will ask is "what is your old address, postcode
- and date of birth" all of which you have given the SCAMMERS!
If these ignorant phone calls are really from Talk Talk all they should ask you
is for the first line of your address.
Remember they called you!
Not you them so they know (if they are Talk Talk) who they are talking to.

right guys...!! never ever ever ever ever.... give them your date of birth cos if you do you might as well give them your passport, drivers licence and credit card as well.!!

This number called me today and asked for my details under the Data Protection Act rubbish. If it was Talk Talk I'm sure they wouldn't be asking this. They also said my account's last bill was about £28 and it was £23. I'm going to ring OFCOM and other callers who have had silent calls from any number can ring them and the company can be fined upto £1million. I tried to call the number back and get an answer message saying the TALK Talk group called me. Very dodgy

I had a call from these people today and they claimed to be some 'reclaim money from your bank' type of claims service.  They claimed they got my number from Baines and Ernst but I'm not even on their data base. NOT TALK TALK!

had 3 calls today from this number, now i know its talk talk i wont answer i have no need to i dont have a landline ha ha, how they got my mobile number is beyond me

This number rang me today....
answered and just heard a lot of background...no speaking and then they hung up.
Strange...

twice today i have received a call from these people,speaking in english with an accent which can only come from the indian sub-continent.these calls were made to my mobile while i was at work which annoying enough,but how do they get mobile numbers.A6T3
these people are suggesting that i have a claim to compensation from a past loan,all i will have to do is give them all my details etc;etc. they must think people are f@*king stupid.its about time these calls were stopped/blocked and companys shouldn't be allowed to make our details available to unscrupulous "call centres" like this.

Had a call from number 008009886018 while I was at work....it was on my call list when I checked anyone know who it might be from

Already an existing TalkTalk customer (phone and Broadband) and rec'd a call from these muppets on my mobile. They hung up as soon as I answered. As a matter of principal I'll never give out personal info or card details over the phone and always ask for a written document posted to me that I can see for myself. If they're genuine then something will materialize. More often than not............that's the last you hear about it.

I was contacted today at 18.58 by +08009886018 and i was asked if i had received my £1400 refund from loans i had taken out over the previous three years. I said no and hung up. The caller had an indian/ asian accent and did not mention Talk Talk in any way. After reading all these pages of posts about this being Talk Talks number Im now a bit confused.

Just phoned the number back and i got a recorded message saying that i was through to the 'Claims Advisory Group' and that there offices were now shut for the evening. The message was recorded by somebody that was British. Be aware.

Just had a call from 08009886018. Didn't catch the name of the company, as the line was bad, but it certainly wasn't TalkTalk. A woman with a slightly Americanised South Pacific accent called me the wrong name and told me that she wanted to get me a refund of all the money I had paid on credit and loans (of which I have very little). Cut the the call mid-sentence as I can't stand these pointless sods...

Missed 2 calls from this number yesterday at 13.26pm, checked here first as I always do! Seems I did not miss much. Why no message after 2 calls? Cannot have been important then eh!?

Re. 08009886018. 'They' (whoever they are) have been ringing several times a day for the past four days. I've simply not picked up. Any ideas as to 'their' identity?

They keep ringing me every day sometimes 3 times a day I rang back and they said it was an accident claims group it's really doing my head in grrr

I really wish people would read ALL the posts before posting.  I can CONFIRM this is NOT Talk Talk but THIS company.

I'm sick of getting calls from this number
Even tho I don't answer them it's still blitty annoying!

I am being called by these people every day both on my mobile and land line. I do not know how they got either number. A woman with a strong South African accent said she has a cheque for me for £15,000 for miss-old loan protection and went on to ask for my bank details. It it obviously a con.

Called today and checked number here. They called my mobile. Again, like so many I do not answer any numbers I don't know. Why do these companies so much revenue making cold calls rather than giving better prices to their customers?!
