Just had a missed call on my mobile (virgin mobile) from this number, just rang em back on my landline.  asked who it was 'gavin' or 'kevin' couldnt understand exactly, he said they could help me claim back £1500 on loans insurance.  told him to .... off and told him i was gonna report em to police.

I've had 6 missed calls from this number in the last 2 days. The last one was only 10 mins ago! I don't answer calls from numbers that I dont know and after reading the comments left by previous people I wont be answering any calls from this number. I would advise people to do the same, if you dont answer they'll soon get annoyed and stop calling.

just had a call from this number saying that i could be owed £1500 for a mis-sold loan or credit card, funny as i have never had one. i asked them who gave them my details and they hung up, scammers

Had 4 calls from this number in one day. Claims Direct they said they were, and that they can get money back that I may be entitled to....I told the first caller I am a former bankrupt, and he went away....followed then by 3 other calls. My wife answered one and said I wasn't expecting a call from them, and they went away.
Nuisances.

I got someone ringing one of my distant friends and asking for my full name? I don't get how that works, but I still don't know who it was.
Pain in the ass really.

I missed 2 calls from this number yesterday (17/03/11) then got another call which i answered, a foreign gentleman then stated my name and told me he was from some claims department, with my phone being a company number on Vodafone that only the people i work with ring i asked how they got my name and number has i never give it to anyone, he said he got my details from somewhere but i couldn`t understand his accent. So i told him not to ring this number again and he put the phone down. This phone or number is not registered to me so where can he have got the details from ????

I wrote to TalkTalk business regarding this, and here is their response:

"Thank you for your email. We are not aware of this as an active number however I cannot confirm or deny whether it is a TalkTalk number. If when they call you, you press 1477 during or just after the call this will automatically report the number to the police who can then liaise with your service provider to stop this from happening."

5 calls in three days, they try to tell me i could claim for an accident, told them not interested,  still keep calling, called them from a blocked number in the end and told them to stop, said they would then called an hour later. these are idiots and I would suggest you ignore them and do not give them any info.

3 calls today to my mobile number. Answered the first time and got a ringing tone so I hung up. No message left the following times.

I keep on getting calls from these guys. I picked up today and they hang up on me. Then called again and hung up again after I asked where they are calling from.

hung up when I answered,sounded like a call centre in the background!

i got a call from this number saying ive got some money due to me from a loan ive over paid . well i have never ad a loan so how did they know my name n mobile number . also he was  foreign man sounded indian so that tells you something

i recieved 2 calls from this number today 1st time i answered they asked 4 my partner i then replied hes not here may i take a message the chinese sounding lady said wen is he back i said i dont know can i take a message as your ringing my mobile for him n she hung up rang again 10 minutes ago wen answered they hung up, very rude if u ask me, i have recently signed 2 orange broadband and currently in process of being connected how they got my number is beyond me and my partners name to will ignore from now on and put on reject list!

Strange accecented chap phoned 10 mins ago asking for someone I have never heard of, took about 15 seconds before I could here him though and very noisy call centre in background. Why dont the telephone companies ban this number.

had two calls from this number today , when putting phone down accidently rang it , was answered by foreign lady thanking me for calling claims advice , i hung up

I get called about 3 times a day from 0800 988 6018. no one speaks when i answer!
GETTING REALLY ANNOYING NOW!

i have been getting these calls for the last few days ,   3 today . but when i spoke to the lady she tried to tell me about loans and insurance i,d taken out (not to my knowledge) i threatened to call the police if they didn,t remove my num so they phoned again 30 mins later its beyond a joke now !!!!

i have just recieved a call from this number.. sounded like they were in a nightclub.. could make out a word he said then hung up. was on the phone for 4 seconds ? wen people from the 1st page mentioned talk talk i was confused as we have talk talk but i have nothing to do with the bill.. dont know where they got my number helpp ??

Just spoke to someone calling me from this number - they told me that i'm entitled to £1750 back from the banks because of loans i've taken out in the past and that they would post out the relevent details for me to get the money back in the next 48hours.

They asked me to remember back over the past 10years for loans i'd taken out - i told them i haven't i'd had a credit card. They then hung up.

keep getting calls from this number and numerous different times of the day, wouldnt mind so much if i could just understand what they are saying to me pfft
