I have loads of missed calls from this number on my mobile, will not answer any numbers I don't recognise.  How come they evade the TPS?

i received 6 calls in the past 3 days from this number. They asked my name and said they were calling from claims direct and asked if i had received my refund. I advised that i cannot have a refund for a policy that i had not taken out. The lady said 'pardon me' and hung up.

Number currently belongs to a company called "Claims Advisory Group"

I had a call from this number today saying that they could get me money back from loans and finance taken out over the last 10 years.  They rang me on my work mobile number which doesn't then make sense

08009886018 have tried to call me twice now and I have avoided them, but I attempted to call back, and all I got was a message saying that this number despite being an 0800 number, would charge me.

Just had a call from this number. Strange accent, didn't say a company name, but stated I could claim "thousands" of pounds on missold payment protection insurance, as she was sure I had seen in the news recently. Asked if she could send a claim form to my home address (which, worryingly, she knew). I said I wasn't interested. She then said "Why not? You're not explaining to me why you're not interested. You have nothing to lose and everything to win". I then giggled and said "Ok. I'm going to hang up now" and that was when the line went dead. Nice lady!

am getting peed of with this this number calls on my mobile and then on my home fone how is that possible and if picked up its dead line it's obvious it's sum sort of scam but am on the verge now of getting in contact with offcom cos it is taking the piss calling me all hours every night and day.

I keep geting phone cals from talktalk asking me  am i the account holder my post code.
the numbers are  04480098862 and 08009886220  are they from talktalk. please let me no.

Got a call from this number, nothing about talk talk - said they were from credit company (I asked several times and the woman just answered really quickly and so that I couldn't understand) and was due a refund on old loans that I had paid off. They used my maiden name, and wanted me to verify loan details.. didn't give them anything. Instant highalert as I certainly don't share my finanaical details with anyone calling me - don't trust them.

Now that so many free PPI claims tools exist such as http://www.which.co.uk/campaigns/personal-fin ... ign/claim-back/ and ex-PPI sellers will be contacting mis-sold PPI victims to compensate them direct the bottom is about to drop out of the PPI claims market. This may mean that they will stop calling soon. Their accounts are also overdue, so they may be changing name again, or the company may simply be struck-off, as many of the director's previous companies have been. Their current details are:
