I did not answer.  The called left a robo-voice message saying they were the IRS and that a lawsuit has been filled against me.  This is a scam.

I guess the Microsoft scam didn't work so they've moved on to the IRS scam. Just a message that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me and I should call back to get details.

Called from this number saying the IRS is filling law suit against you.  I called back from my cell phone and Verizon stated can't complete the call.  Bizzard.  Some people don't know what to do with their free time.

I had a call from the internal revenue so they said. Supposedly I owed them money , they gave me a long string of numbers which I didn't write down

Got a call from this number today. Robo  call claimin to be the IRS,stating that this was a last ditch effort to contact me before they sued me. At least they are mixing it up a bit.

Did not answer but apparently they want me to believe that the IRS is suing me.

Got a call from this # today, claiming the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me... If they did, they would have sent an official letter which is what they always do. They don't make calls like this.
Of course when I don't recognize a phone #, I let it go to VM...

we never answer unfamiliar numbers/names also.  they left us a message saying the IRS had us in a lawsuit, and gave us another number to call.  looked here and found a scam. our tax accountant said this is a popular scam now and to ignore.  the IRS contacts by letters.

Left Voice mail on landline, said (distorted computer aided voice) saying they were an Officer of the Internal Revenue Service and that they had been trying to contact me and this was my last opportunity they were filing a law suit against me and i should immediately call 206-822-3228. Thanks to this page i know as i expected they were a scam.

call came through from 213-141-5163 , I didn't recognize # so I did NOT answer...
They left a robotic message on our machine
"This is an officer from the Internal Revenue Services, this call is a final notice from the Internal Revenue Services, we have called to inform you that we have filed a lawsuit against you. for more information call our department 510-455-2357 "
I'm not calling them back, because we haven't received anything by mail from the IRS and our taxes are all paid honestly, so this must be some kind of scam.
The IRS does not call people without first sending correspondence by mail.
I find it strange that others have reported this # as a Microsoft scam ... Now it says IRS. Guess these crooks will stop at nothiong to get your personal info.

Caller left a robot message on my home phone answering machine saying it was the IRS and they were trying to reach me because I have a lawsuit filed against me. The robot voice said to call back to 510-455-2357. It's very disturbing and obviously aimed at some gullible folks. The IRS corresponds by snail mail. I never received any notification of pending legal action by snail mail. SCAM-beware folks!

Irs scam...Robot call with a message saying that you need to call this number
213-141-5163 to settle a problem with the irs.

"This is officer from Internal Revenue Services.  We have been trying to reach you.  This is your final notice that a lawsuit is being filed against you.  Call 410-248-6750"

From internal revenue something about a law suit against me

This was the caller id on a fake call from the IRS claiming to have filed suit.  They gave their number as 510-443-0044 but this was the caller ID

Now they say they're from the IRS and there's a lawsuit against me.

I had two voicemails back to back from this number saying they were the IRS and a lawsuit was filed against me.  I've had this same recording from various numbers, and from reading all previous comments on this number, it sounds like they changed tactics.  I've had the "microsoft tech support" call as well, but this time it was Internal Revenue Services - you would think they would at least get the name right, it's not plural!  IRS would never call anyone, all correspondence is by mail.
