Why would you do that? That is almost as bad as letting someone (a thief who is casing...BTW) into your house for a FREE carpet cleaning.

Got a few calls from this number claiming they are the IRS and they are suing me. (BTW...the real folks at the IRS dont sue anyone..the IRS TAKES BY GARNISHMENT) Any who, they wanted me to call this number (520)955620. Which is another red flag that you are about to get scammed when someone calls from a California area code and tells you to call bum f*!@k Egypt.

A few months ago received a call saying my computer had a virus and he wanted me to sit at my computer while he fixed it.  Today I got the call that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.  This is the second time for such a call.  My daughter who is at a different number and location got the same call and so did my husband.

Scam: "Trying to reach you. This call is an official final notice tile from internal revenue services. The reason of the call is to inform you that we have filed a lawsuit against you. For more information call immediately our department number 914-600-0202. I repeat 914-600-0202."

I received a voicemail from 213-141-5163 on 2/2/16. The message stated the they are the IRS and they have been trying to contact me.
I did not return the call.

Got a call from this number on 2/2/16 they left a message saying they were from the IRS and they were suing me. They said I needed to call 914-600-0202 I DID NOT!! This scam has been out there for a while.

they called with a fake IRS scam told us to call back at (914) 600-0202. Don't return their calls!

Received call from this number on 2/4/16, 9:40am EST. Automated voice recording claiming to be the IRS, a lawsuit was  entered against me and to contact 914-600-0202 before matters got worse.  Thanks goodness this scam has been out there for a while on the news and this website sharing the IRS only communicates by official certified mail not random automated cold calling..

They left a voicemail, it was a recording telling me it was the IRS and they filed a lawsuit against me. They left me a 914 area code number to call them back.

Received message indicating individual was from IRS and wanted gobs of payback moola.   No way Jose !

The caller left an electronic voice message stating the following: " this is officer from the Internal Revenue Service.  We have been trying to reach you.  The reason for the call is to inform you that we have filed a law suit against you.  For more information call immediately our department number 347-558-9509.  I repeat 347-558-9509."

IRS scam.

I got a message from this number but they did not say they were Microsoft.
He said he was a officer from the IRS and they were filling a lawsuit against me, and I need to call this number. 914-499-8220. This was a recording.

Got a call from 213-141-5163 as a "Robo call" saying they are from the IRS (services), first clue to the spam, and to call back 914-499-8220, as they are suing me. This guy went from Microsoft scamming to IRS scamming. Don't call these thieves!

rec'd robo call this am telling me that the irs was suing me.  they referenced a case no 9144998220.

If you ever got a real notice that you are in trouble with a state institution, the thought of it causes anguish.  Now imagine that your employer (a church hospital)  fires you after 20 years of dedicated service because xxxxxxxxxxx the reason doesn't matter to them because you have no recourse.  Now your house payment is late and your teenagers are driving momma crazy with worry and you get a phone call like this.  Yeah, I'm okay because I get it, but someone out there this "prank" is the straw that breaks the camels back.

Strong drugs and alcohol. Works for me. Or a call blocker for unknown numbers if you want the soft option.

Just a scam,  not sure where they got my number as it is a new number I've not given it out.  The IRS has my address and my CPA's number if it had really been the IRS they would have sent a letter to me of my CPA
