Get calls from this number a lot.  I never answer.  They leave a message saying they are from IRS and have filed a lawsuit against me.  I am to callback  at 347-637-6194.  I never call back.  It is a scam since IRS does not call people by phone.  Now, why can't the government use both of these phone numbers to shut down this scam? Caller ID says name not found.

How times change.  Instead of Microsoft I got a recorded message saying that they were the Social Security Administration and that they'd filed a lawsuit against me.  I should have been served papers first or at least have gotten a specific message regarding what the lawsuit was about.

This was a recorded message from the 'Internal Revenue Service' saying that this is my last chance to clear up my overdue balance!  My CPA filed my taxes back in February of this year and there was no balance due.  This caller calls me often  and it is clearly a scam.

It was an IRS scam robocall re: lawsuit pending.  Hung up by about 3 seconds in.

I received almost every single day from the same number.  In this case they said they are calling from the IRS saying a case number was filed against me, and call to 347-637-6194.

Received a message from this scammer stating I was being sued by the IRS. These people need to get a life!

Another scam call.  Says IRS is sueing me and need to call 209-813-4131 right away.  Pure BS!

IRS Agent .... dangerous to the unwary

The automated caller left message on my wife's voice mail saying they were from the IRS and she was being being sued by them.  Then left the number 347-673-6194.

Now the jerk is saying he is with the IRS and has been trying to contact me.  Really folks, the IRS will never call you unless you initiate the call and receive a confirmation number that an agent will use when they call back.  The IRS agent will identify his name, ID number and reference your inquiry before ever asking questions  Trust me I know how this works since malicious people have filed erroneous tax returns using my personal information.  I just wish the Federal Trade Commission could shut these guys down and send them to the nastiest prison on the face of the earth!.

SUPER-DANGEROUS! Recorded voice called minutes ago pretending to be from IRS which "has filed a lawsuit against me and my family and demanded to call back immediately at a given number" (which I do not recollect). Maybe this serious offense will eventually draw the FBI's attention against those individuals..

Caller said he was from the IRS and that they had filed a lawsuit against me.  He gave a ten-digit reference number but nothing else about how to deal with his "lawsuit".  Caller ID said the call was from California but anything from the IRS for me or my company would almost certainly come from Austin.  Call back got message "Your call cannot be completed as dialled."

Poorly made recording informs me that it is from "The Department of the Internal Revenue Services" and that they have been trying to contact me as they have filed a lawsuit against me.
The caller then directs me to dial a number that is located in  New York City (Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens).

The IRS arrested five guys in Florida on Tuesday suspected of scamming at least 1,600 people out of 2.5 mil. They say that's just the tip of the iceberg. If you have been scammed go to  www. treasury.gov. and fill out the form because the are desperate for more info in catching others.

I let it go to my answering machine, a man saying he has been trying to reach me for a long time. This is an officer from internal revenue, he has been trying to reach me. This is my final notice, the IRS has filed a criminal lawsuit against me and I need to call 347-478-5055 immediately.

The same thing happens to me an Indian call so many times to tell me we have a virus on the computer , my answer is I" don't
Have a computer , they hung up on me , but i" m getting so tyerd , and engry to answer the phone and it is them .
This time it was a recorder saying that we have to call some number , beacose we have law suet or something . And I" m going to report this # to the police or the news or something ,i" m so furous .
