Persisting calls from unknow source.

When you see the number answer with, "Hello, This is Macy's.  How do you want me to direct your call?"  OR This is the FBI or some such nonsense...The best I've heard is record the electronic ring when you reach a nonexistent number and play that.  I understand that will signal the number is no longer a working number...I have not tried it myself but one pf you creative, adventurous types can try it.

Got two calls from this number today. The second time I answered, and yup it's Macy's/Bloomingdale's. They were looking for the woman who last had my home number.  I have gotten other calls for her from collectors.

This a total scam. They say they are calling from Macy's and ask you to verify your account number. Basically they are trying to get you card number to use it illegaly. I went back and forth with the caller asking what the call was regarding. She refused to tell me. She then said it was a collection call and I mist provide her with my card number. I confronted her about being a scam artist and asked her to get me off their list. She refused. They keep calling me. I don't even have a Macys card. Please be careful and do not provide any info. If Macys wants to send you a notice, they will contact you by mail. If you are concerned about your account, call Macy's directly.

Do not pay any money or give any info. Yes they are fake.
I have contacted macys and they say they do not know about it. Even though its been happening with the same numbers for over 8 years.
Ftc has been contacted

Multiple calls a day from 8005113207. No one answers, no voice mails.  I have an up to date Macy's account.  Will be canceling is shortly.  This type of harassment is uncalled for.

We called the Macy's customer service phone number off of the macys.com website. They confirmed that it is a collection agency. If ever in doubt about a phone number, please go directly to the website and contact the business to ensure that it is valid before giving out info. Also, sometimes identity theft occurs and one way to ensure that someone is indeed using your info is to, once again contact the main business phone number. It takes a while for fraud to show up on your credit report...

This number continues to call inspite of being on the do not call list. Yesterday alone they called a total of six times. I called back a few days ago to be told they are Macy's...well I called Macy's only to be told they could not validate the number. I filed a complaint with the FTC.Gov I Hope I receive another check because of fraudulent unwarranted harrassment!

N file a complaint with the FTC.GOV they whoever they are...are ridiculous...should go out and get real jobs!

Keep getting calls from 800-511-3207 about ten times a day. have not answered this call and upon reading other complaints about this call have no intentions of answering it.

Called Macy's fraud department, the number calling is a Macy's number that had the wrong person and phone number. Was instructed that they would call the center and tell them not to call anymore they have the wrong person.

Received calls every on the hour for a month.
Placed phone number 800 511 3207 on call blocking after 3rd call.
Finally Called back, operator answered Macy's
Operator questions indicate it was Clearly a Phishing call.
Called Macy's and cancelled my Credit Card.
Talked to Macy's Security to notify a breach in security.
Notify news papers that Macy's is covering up a security breach.
SUGGESTION Cancel your card until this problem solution is posted on Macy's WS as resolved.

I got the call twice today and it said it was with citizens bank.

I get several calls in one day from this number and every time that I do answer to tell them to stop or find out who it is, no one is there and the call is ended.  ???  I got 4 calls 7/9 and have received 2 calls by noon today 7/13.

I know I don't owe any money to Macy's . They call me four ,five times a day, they don't leve any message .  I'm adding this number to the block list. From experience, I know the will call from different number and it will go on and on. If somebody have an a better advice let me know.

Stop calls from this number,they call multiple times daily starting early morning,they hang up.please check into this & block them from calling.

Keep calling and calling, leaves vague message to call back, sounds like a scam

I have received at least 10 phone calls from this number in the last few days. I finally blocked it from my phone. I believe it to be a solicitation call from Macy's.
