- Annoyed 13| 1 replyI revived a call from 800-511-3207 today on my cell phone and they didn't leave a message. Wth? I'm also on the do not call list.
- MLRWe have been getting these calls from 1-800-511-3207(3-4 times per week), telling us to contact Macy's about a business problem. We have no issues with macy's. We were getting these calls approx 2 years ago but they did stop.
- Caller: Macy's
- DASI have a Macy's account but owe nothing. This number calls me up to 5 times a day since February 13th! I have change the ringtone to vibrate for this annoying number.
I did call back the 800 number they suggested and was asked personal information from people that sounded like they were from China.
I do not want this number to call me any longer, I asked them not to but it doesn't stop. They called twice today alread.- Caller: Macy's?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- SobummI think that this a phishing number.
They call me at least once a week, sometimes more often.
I usually just ignore the calls. I don't let it get to me. - mike cassidy8005113207 left a message on answering machine saying this was an account issue. Had me thinking i had a late payment so i called back and an Indian speaking fella says he needed the account number...Click. i hung up.
- never again replies to JessI did this, too. The calls stopped for a few days, then started again. They are after someone who had my phone number years ago, but won't give up. What I do is call their 800 number TEN times each time they call, telling them I'll jam their lines with nuisance calls until they stop calling my number. I also wrote the FCC to complain. I am on the federal do not call list. Needless to say, I have stopped shopping at Macy's, where I have never had an account. I have warned all my friends not to open an account at Macy's.
- DanNot sure how they even got my work cell. But I've been getting calls from 800-511-3207
~8:30am, ~11:30am, ~2:30pm, ~5:30pm since 3/11/2013. I did not answer. I never have a macy's account and I never use my business cell phone number for anything personal. This is obviously a SCAM/SPAM. - Jill| 1 replyI have gotten a call from 800-551-3207 every day for the last month. So far today they have called at 4:45, I hung up on them, 4:56, I hung up on them and again at 5:10 and listened to the stupid automated message. I will NOT call them back as I just used my Macy's card for the first time in month's a couple of days ago. If I continue to get this call I will call Macy's and tell them I will NEVER shop in their store again if this doesn't stop.
- Caller: Macy's?
- Jim replies to JillI got a call today from 800-511-3207 which was a recording from Macy's. The machine said this was not a solicitation call and asked to return a call to the same number. When I called back a man with a heavy Indian accent said he was in the collections department at Macy's and my account must be past due. I just paid the account and received an on-line confirmation of the payment 9 days ago. He asked for my account number which I refused to provide. If they call back again I will report the calls to the Attorney General's office.
- penny replies to JackieMe too...two accounts, payments credited to the wrong one & my credit gets dinged?!? Was hung up on when trying to resolve the issue in a 3-way call with Macy's and my bank representative! Now, some time later I'm getting calls from 800 511 3207 but they leave no message. So I checked online to see what the number is and apparently it's Macy's. Figures...Macy's service has declined dreadfully.
- Boycott Macy'sI too get daily calls from this robodialer. The calls are from India. I do not have any past due bills with Macy's . I have spoken with this company on many occasions to get them to take my number off their machine. That does not work. I now simply call the number back twice for every time they call me and I wait until someone answers. I then let them hear dead air or my television or stereo until they disconnect. I call back again and repeat. If everyone does this enough maybe they will get they message. Needless to say that Macy's and Bloomingdales will not be getting any further business from me.

- Corrie| 1 replyTurns out it is Macy's, but not a collection agency. It is Macy's "credit department" and they are obviously operating a terrible business model. You'd think they could pay for a more authentic recording or a system that didn't seem so shady. Maybe clear lines that didn't sound like some guy was operating out of a basement? I thought for sure this was a scam until I went online and looked at an error on my bill and had to resolve it with the online customer service agent (which in retrospect was probably the same person that had been calling me). At least I did it on their website and not on the phone with someone who seemed like they were trying to steal my identity.

- The Big CheeseJust got a call and it seemed legit as they did not ask for any account information. I did give them the phone nember as they already had that info because they called this number. They then asked for "Keith Gallager" . My phone number was issued to someone else before me but the name was nothing like that so obviously their records are screwed up or this person gave them the number and they never checked it on opening the account. Macy's should be more careful about putting phone numbers in account records without validating them.

- MHThis number called a distant acquaintance (who used to work at Macy's) and asked if she knew (my name) me or someone with my name. They then said that they were with Macy's credit department and needed to reach me. What kind of scam is this? What do they hope to gain? How did they know she knew someone with my name or was it a wild guess? Freaking me out!
- SusanI just called Macy's customer service directly to ask if this was one of their numbers. They said no, and they checked to see if anyone had left a notation in my file about trying to reach me. Nothing. This sounds like a scam. Don't give them any information!
- Caller: "Macy's credit"
- KMJJJJI got a call from them and I tried to call it back and it rang and then just went dead silent-- very annoying.
- California Macy's shopperIts not Macys. This is phishing -- do not give them ANY information but report it to Macy's fraud unit.
- Caller: Claimed to be Macy's.

- VivianI have been receiving calls from this number 1-800-511-3207, non stop for like two weeks and I ignored them because I had no problems with my Macy's account so after numerous calls I called the number at the back of my Macy's card and talked to a Macy's representative. She told me that the number they called me from is real and it belongs to a collection agency that works for Macy's. I asked the representative of Macy's why they did not leave any messages when they called me and she said they are not allowed to do so as a matter of safety and privacy of the account. I am glad I called because when I checked this number online and according to several reports in this website it show this number as a non reliable kind of fraudulent one and they are wrong!. There was some kind of problem with my account about a product I bought and returned that put me in rears with my account payments without me knowing about it, so I have just had it solved. I hope this comment helps!
