This is a SCAM!  The number as stated above came up in caller ID GT CONVEYOR but then they said call 1-800-955-9060 back!  They had my name,phone number and last four digits!   1/9/2018

I just got the same call as everyone else here 1-800-9060. "Michelle" called my home landline and mobile. She said there was suspicious activity and they would also send an email (that if I got to email I should answer that and disregard the phone calls...THAT made me nervous.) So...Do NOT call this number back. But DO still call Chase, the number on the back of the card or google it and do it quickly. When I called Chase myself, some of my personal information had already been changed. There was indeed a travel vacation being charged that was not mine. We seem to have caught this very quickly. So kudos to Chase for paying attention. Again, if THEY call you don't give them ANY information. Hang up and call the card in question yourself directly. But one thing to keep in mind, if they're calling you trying to scam you...they already have some of your info...So please do call the card in question and make sure.

The number on the back of your card is NOT 1800-955-9060!  That is a scam#!  The correct # on the back of your card is 1800-955-8060 and is not 9060!

Whoever is saying this is chase is lying. Called chase to confirm, this number is a scam.

800-955-9060 is NOT a scam. When I tried to pay my rent on my credit card, it was declined with fraud protection. While I was wondering why it was declined, the chase bank called my house phone (that I didn't pick up) and soon after they call my cell phone. I picked up and they asked me about the credit card transaction.

believe this caller to be fraud.........not a Chase # as said to be.  Check with your Chase Bank before ever calling back to an unfamiliar # such as 800-955-9060

Received call which caller ID showed coming from this number.  VM for potential fraud on Chase card instructing me to call different number.  Phoned Chase and rep said criminals found way to fake customer service number on caller ID.  Call never came from Chase.  Chase customer service never calls customers to warn about potential cc fraud.  It’s their separate fraud department that sends a text message.  Bottom line.  If concerned, call the number on the back of your Chase credit card and speak with them.  I did and told they have received numerous complaints regarding this scam.

I was thinking scam as well, so I called the number on my card instead and they were trying to reach me, so apparently it was legit.  i will never call the number they give me back, only the one on my card, so the message probably shouldn't be ignored.

Not sure what happened, but this number is a valid Chase fraud department number. And... I did my own research, and it's still the valid number to the Fraud Department at Chase!

I left a message for chase online asking them if they called and if there is any fraud on my account

I legit just signed up for one then waiting in my card I got this call. I’m like I don’t even have the card yet

This was a legit call about an Amazon credit card from Chase. One of my orders didn’t go through. But I would recommend to call the number on the back of your card which is what I did.
