- Irisdunmow replies to 82288| 6 repliesHow dare you back chat me! Just cancel it and that will be the end to it.
- 82288 replies to IrisdunmowReading not one of your core strengths, then? Re-read the message carefully as the instructions are there.
P.S. I am writing this really slowly for you. - Jon replies to Irisdunmow| 3 repliesIt's okay Iris, I'll cancel it for you. It's a shame this happened to you to begin with, you certainly did not deserve the treatment you received here. Some people can be so rude.
- Oh replies to Jon| 2 repliesOkay hotshot , how are you going to do that then, you crawler.
- Read this carefully replies to Linda bridges......... because, and you'd better prepare yourself - perhaps make a cup of strong, sweet tea with a chocolate hobnob (other makes of biscuit are available widely), pull the curtains perhaps and sit in a comfy chair ...... whoever accessed the Xinwin website on your phone, tablet etc - be patient, I'm almost there, how's the tea by the way? Good. Anyway, whoever that was didn't bother to read the terms & conditions. Or, as us wrinklies so fondly remember, it's known as "reading the small print". (Granted, sometimes it's very teeny-weeny very, very small print tucked away on Page 27 (of 35) in Clause 119.3.2 (viii) unless superseded by Clause 19 of the General Terms & Conditions). Oh, probably best you do not infer they may be "Criminals" - of dubious character and morally suspect perhaps, preying on the vulnerable or lazy as they do - but they haven't broken any law, from what I've read on this thread. - Canard replies to Andy!Andy Williams' really rather helpful post shows exactly how Xinion entraps their hapless victims, namely by hiding a rather obscure list of Terms and Conditions in a temptingly bright, glossy come-on ad for a five hundred quid Morrisons voucher.. And don't blame Morrisons: their name is being taken in vain and this so-called 'promotional offer' is nothing whatsoever to do with them. Is it legal? Yessiree, bub. The lesson? There is no free lunch, so read the small print.
- Canard replies to Oh| 1 replyYou never know. He might live next door to the hard of thinking Iris, in which case he could write the necessary facts on the end of a six inch nail, then just pop round and hammer it into her thick skull, preferably before she is distracted by a bright, shiny object/random squirrel/whatever.
- Oh replies to CanardWow, you're up late and wide awake tonight, aren't you. Gratuitous violence? Harsh but effective, I suppose. Certainly would dilute the gene pool for the better.
- Canard replies to IrisdunmowIris,my dear! I'd say you had two choices, to wit:
a) use this forum for its intended purpose by consulting a few previous posts, thus hopefully educating yourself as to how to deal with the problem yourself.
b) slash your throat, thus sparing us your full-frontal 100 octane stupidity. I'd go for this one as you would be bothered no more by 82288 and would simultaneously cleanse the gene pool to the benefit of humanity in general. - john mcginlayyou thieving xxxxx what gives you the right to charge anyone for nothing . should be investigated by telecome etc . will be letting the revelant powers aware of this illegal practice . f-u

- PatReceived text to enter competition for Primark vouchers, when I entered I got a text back saying I had joined up to lottery entries and would be charged £4.50 per week until I text stop to 82288. I text and all it said was they had received my request to stop all text services. I hope I am not charged £4.50 per week, there was nothing to say I would be joining a lottery

- richard chapman| 1 replyI what a refund because I have not set up anything with you
- ain't gonna happen m8 replies to richard chapmanwell, not by this method richard - first read what WCM is for/what it does (they're based in USA and have ABSOLUTELY no interest - rightly so - in individual "problems" in UK or any other jurisdiction); second, read some earlier pages with guidance on PayPhonePlus, the regulator for this sort of number (or go straight to the ppp website); third, ALWAYS read t&cs in detail, don't just click thru like nearly every "aggrieved" visitor to this thread; fourth, if it wasn't you, who DID you loan your phone to? ask them why you been stitched up!
