I had a message on my answering machine from a "Mr. Beech" with the Attorney office of Sidney Michael.  He was asking for both my son and daughter, by name, in regards to my ex-husband.  I returned the call today and they could not give me any information without me first giving out names, which I did not do.

i received a call from this number from a Mr. Kutz with the Attorney office of Sidney Michael.  He asked for my husband and said it was regarding "MY" cousin who has absolutely no ties to my husband.  he said he was an urgent legal matter that she would want to know about.

atty mickells office called me and I had a bill for $15000, they demanded me to pay right then. Then offerd me a discount for $10000 I told them no way I just dont have that. They wanted me to go to my family and get some money or they would sue me. I didnt want to go to family or friends for money, I have to much pride. So I hung up on them and next thing I know I have a sheiff at my door serving me a judgement. They have attached a lein on my home and now garnished my wages. I then asked my mom for the money and paid them with half cash and half credit card. I had to pay the whole thing plus attorney fees and court fees, the total was about $18500. I guess I would suggest paying the discount now my credit bureau is destroyed.

We had a message from a "Samantha" at The Law offices of Sydney Michaels. She wanted the phone number and address for my brother-in-law, which she knew by name. We did not answer any questions. She wanted us to have him call the office right away for urgent legal matters.

Same as the other folks, but my call came into my phone at work!  The woman left a message (and even pronounced my unusual last name correctly which made her sound legitimate), "This is Jennifer Clark calling from the law office of Sidney Michael, please call me at 866.204.3786 x211"  however, my caller ID showed a number from California 909.568.0750.

I just got a call from my Dad saying that a "Quinn" from Sid Micheal legal office just called there. When I called back I found out it was my ex husbands fraud acct and they want me to pay. I hung up. All they are is a collection office. I am a stay at home mom that lives with a friend. My ex ruined my credit, I own no house or car, and I don't work. Not sure how they plan on taking me to court for his fraud. I would be much more incline to work with them on finding my ex to go after, if they hadn't concerned my family in this. That's just low and shadey, but then again they did say "law office". The real CA state # is 909-568-0750.

I got a call from "Luis Reyes" at the Law Offices of Sidney Michaels.  He left a message on my cell phone stating that he has several questions regarding my street address and it is imperative that we speak about this so I need to call his office back at 866-204-3786.  I don't know what questions he may have about my street address because I don't even own a home - I rent an apartment.

I got a call from these people saying they had "legal matters" to discuss and they were NOT a collection agency. Sal was VERY badgering when I would not give him my account info.

They called and let a message. It went something like this: "Hello, this is Mr. Fartface (name changed) from the law firm of Puke, Upchuck and Hurl (names changed). Please call 1-866-204-3786 and so on. Whatever they say they are, they act as debt collection agency...

My grandmother received a call from this Law firm,With a Mr. Bill Windsor, mentioning this was a legal matter and that she was to get in touch with me immediatley! When I returned home from work later that day, I called this law firm. It was regarding a CC Balance that I have been trying to get paid off. He had offered me to pay $3000.00 now and than $200.00 a month until balance was paid off. I of course do not have $3000.00 at the moment or the CC would be already paid off. He than offered me to pay $ 1500.00 today and $1500.00 at the end of the month. Immediatley he requested my Bank account iformation. I told him that I would not give that info over the phone. Not mentioning, I don't even have any paperwork in this matter from this company. Mr Windsor, began to get loud and very rude and than said "OK NO DEAL, you'll wish you would have taken this deal" and hung up.
The following day 2/12/08 around 10 am, another phone call from this Sidney law firm, my Grandmother answered the telephone, called her by her first name, and demanded her to get in touch with me within the next 15 to 30 minutes regarding a legal matter. This MR. Jeremy Gastel, threatend my grandmother, and was absolutely out of hand, yelling at her telling her this is a legal matter regarding some property in Panama City, which I don't own nor does anyone in my family own. First of all, If it was a legal company calling regarding a legal matter, we all know, that by law, they are not allowed to tell anyone what type of matter they are calling for. Law Office of Sydney Micheal located in "California" must be a scam. Otherwise, I would be able to locate information regarding the company. Be careful everyone!!!

we received a call on 2/20/08 from a gentleman named quinn who claimed to be representing the law firm of sid michael... he asked for questions regarding my ex wife, new her current address as well as a phone#. he stated that due to federal regulations he could not disclose the nature of his inquiry....

I got a call from these people regarding my sister-in-law.  They used both her married name and maiden name, and MY married name and legal name.  They were not aware of my relationship to my sister-in-law, which was weird.  Also, they did not call my brother, but me, regarding HIS wife.  The man's name was "Mr. Kurtz" - NO first name given.

A Soloman from this number was rude and disrespectful while calling my workplace (police Department) looking for employees who could be currently working.  He was beligirent and outragous.  Give these people nothing and disconnect their line.  Bill collectors have no business calling the workplace.  They are all losersas they are not important and they

I just received a call from the Law Office of Sydney Michaels, they knew my name but wanted to talk to my neighbor. The guy said my neighbor 3 doors down had put me down as a reference. They were trying to get in contact with my neighbor and the guy kept saying he didn't know if the phone lines in our area were down but it's urgent he talk with him. He told me that they are working on legal matters together. I told him I don't know that neighbor and I've never talked with that neighbor. He said sometimes people just "look up a phone number of someone who lives on their street and give it as a reference just in case for urgent messages". He still wanted me to take a message down to this guy so I said sure just to get his call back info to check it out. I now see they are some of the shadiest, low life, deceitful and manipulative collection jerks I've ever seen. I'm not taking that message down there and doing someone else's collecting.

I too recieved a call from the same number a Mr. Kuncz. Im glad I googled this number I do not plan on returning his call. He was looking for information on a family member of mine. DOes anyone know what this scam is about?

I've been receiving robocalls -- three or four a week, usually in the early evening -- from this number.  The robo-call says:  "This is a message for NAME.  If this is NAME, please press 1.  If this is not NAME, please press 2."  After I press 2, the robocall continues:  "This is an urgent message for NAME.  Please contact the law offices of Sydney Mickel (sp?)".

I'm fairly annoyed by this.  I'm not NAME.  This is a brand new phone number, just issued to me last week.  I'm signed up for the do-not-call lists; at what point does this robocalling become harassment?

Any valid threat to this legal action they say can occur?

Received a call from Mr. Kutz from the Law Firm of Sydney Michael who gave me a call back # of 866.204.3786. He first asked for my husband then for me in order to contact my mother. Why not just contact her direct??? To say the least I won't be passing this on to her!

Neighbor gave me a note to call number, said there was something wrong with my phone line. If they can call the neighbor, they can call me.

Got note from neighbor saying that I needed to be contacted and asked if my phone line was down. After seeing this, I am not impressed.
