My wife had a debt that she was not aware it went unpaid,  so I called this firm to try to make a settlement officer,  on a 9000 debt they agreed to 4500 but I had to pay 1000 a month.  I could not afford it, they kept telling me they were going to call my wife, since it was her debt.  I asked them to take 500 twice a month but they refused and hung the phone up.  I told them that you call my wife and ask her for the money it would only caused a divorce between the two of us, then you would not get a dime because she does not have the money.  So work with me and take the payments that I could afford,  last month I could not afford the 500 because of a bank error,  Jeremy, informed me that he would have to add another 500 at the end of the agreement.  "Black mail or what?"  I have paid them 2500 towards the 4500 but I noticed that they have no lowered the bill and deduct that amount off the 4500 as agreed, so now, they will not get anymore money.  I have placed a call to the Attorney general's office.  and now I will call the other number that was posted in earlier comments.

Somone called me from this number with a California area code. Then someone showed up at the fron desk of my job and left this number to contact 18662043786. Harrassing bill collectors I supose now going to places of business and I hear they are frauds>

Says it is a law office but they sure don't act like it...They call me at LEAST 2 times every SINGLE DAY!!!!

I had two calls from Michael Sidney Law Firm, a 909 area code number. First, about a month ago, they called a company which I provide services to them, asking for me, but first name only... They called me back passing the message, it was really awkward for my self as a service provider receiving calls over there, but I called them back, they asked my last name and company name, I said, you're the one calling me, you should know, they guy didn't know what to say, and said different names for my last name and my company name, even though they figured out the industry I worked. I told them that it wasn't me, and please do not call me again.

Yesterday I got a voice mail from a girl called Didi, or Dity, I called her back, they transferred to her extension and the same thing, she started asking me questions, and I said, I'm not telling you anything unless you prove me that you want to talk to me. She said I'm pulling your account and it took forever... she came with the same information from the other guy, very similar but way OFF from whom I was.

At the end, I told the lady, please, do not call me again, and remove my number from your database, I do not want to receive any calls from you, because I don't have nothing to do with this.

They got my first name right, my last name it was completely different, but it started with the same letter, and the company name, they have it differently, but it was kind of close... but if it was real, they would probably have the right information.

A Lance Echols called asking for my son . I am turning this over to the Attorney Generals office in Salem Oregon.  Very vague phone call.

Mr. Kutz from Sidney Michael Law Firm called my cell phone while I was at work yesterday (I don't answer my cell at work), then immediately called my work number and I told him that he had the wrong number because I have never heard of them before. I researched them online and then got a phone call from my boyfriends mother sayng that they sent her a letter and they called her friedn to get her number in regards to ME. This place is ridiculous.

We got a call at work for one of our employees from this number, from a man identifying himself as Anthony James at ext. 218.  I told him that personal calls needed to be made to her at her home number.  He said this wasn't personal, that it was business, but refused to give any information. I asked him again to call her home number, and he was quite rude and very arrogant.  He used very fishy wording when pressed for information.  It just didn't sound right.  When I explained that we could not transfer calls to teachers in classrooms, he said he would just call our "Human Resources Office".  I told him that was fine, but they would tell him the same thing.  He then told me to make sure I just give her the message, and that it was urgent.  They sounded like debt collectors to me.  When he hung up, I dialed the number, and the person who answered said this was the "Ken Wood Law Group".  They didn't sound legit.  I wouldn't give out any information to anyone calling from this number!

Did you actually track them down.  I am looking for them myself.  Please reply.

I got a call from the Kentwood Law Group and they are professional and were very helpful. I got my self in a financial nightmare and they were more than willing to help me through it. It's was refreshing to talk with a ethical firm.

I received a call from Kentwood Law Group asking me for the telephone number of a cousin whom I had not seen in years. I gave them no information and they would not tell me why they were trying to locate her.

I then went to the internet and looked them up, this page is what I found. Obviously, they are a fraud and should be reported to the Police. I don't even think they are located in California, when I called back, it sounded like the call was being forwarded!

I received a phone call from someone named Bill Windsor with the Kentwood Law Group at 909-568-0750 asking me to leave a note on my neighbors' door asking them to call 866-204-3786. I know that this neighbor is experiencing financial hardship at this time, and I think it is downright disgusting that any creditor would resort to these means to embarrass and harrass a client. Needless to say, my neighbor will NOT be getting a note from me on their door!

These people have been calling my phone up to 6-7 times a day including weekends.  Today a Carl Delasquez from the Kentwood Law Group 866-204-3786 ext 107 called and since he didn't get me on my work line he called the main line to my company complaining that he could not get ahold of me.  BAD BUSINESS and against the law.  Good luck getting to talk to me now....being harrassed is not a good move I would think for a supposedly "lawyer" to make.

You sure this wasn't from Carl Velasquez?  I received a similar call from asking a return call to 866-204-3786 ext 107.  I'm curious if this is the same Carl Velasquez from MDHT Corp also known as the American Loan Help Center or Gold Key Funding.  Check out the complaints from the CA Dept of Real Estate H-35885LA and H-35886LA or the 'Winter 2009 Mortgage Loan Bulletin'.  Kentwood's office is only 5 miles from Glendora, a site listed in one of the real estate complaints.

I have been receiving calls from a couple of debt collectors.  I am not sure why.  They must have found my name and work number on the internet somewhere.  I have no intention of returning any calls.  I have no debt.

its not against the law...last time i checked stealing was which is what your doing when you dont pay back people you borrow from

what happens when you google the address? is it in california? try doing that...what happened when you did? did you call the police? how'd they make you feel when the business was legit? did you pay your debt? didnt think so

My wife received a call from the above number stating it was extremely urgent they contact my son but wouldn't tell her why.   I called them and they stated they were the Kentwood Law Group of California, which is not a law firm but a collection agency.  I contacted my son, who told me he called them and they wanted him to pay $1200.00 for a $899.00 ticket he has received and paid in August of 2008, in Glynn County, GA near Darien on I95.   The guy told him that if he didn't pay it within 3 days it would cost him $2000.00.  My son again told him he paid with a cashiers check and received a certified mail receipt and told him not to call again unless he could prove that he hadn't already paid.  He told them to send proof to our address which is fine.
