Phone calls from this company are a bogus telephone scam.... please action

My 88-year old mother suffering dementia was called by these people and talked into paying £165 over the phone for some pills to "buck her up". With all the quangos we have, how is it that these companies can continue operating for years defrauding elderly people?

Your do not say when your mother was conned.  If it is less than 7 days ago ring these scumbags and tell them you are cancelling the order and require a refund under the Distance Selling Regulations, which give you seven days within which to cancel.  In addition, given your mother's dementia ring Action Fraud and Trading Standards.  When you 'phone Sanda tell them you are doing this.  Good Luck

p.s. You should also get your mother's credit or debit card changed.

Pestered with these calls, we have caller display and so do not usually answer, the calls are at all times of the day every day, and have been coming for months, finally answered as so fed up with it and yes its the rosehip company, put them off but no doubt will still be pestered.

then had i been to mexico . did i take cod liver oil or multi vitamins  asked if over weight.
suggested neopon from the nopel cactus ? this supplement is supposed to burn protein and
bind bad fats. cost normanly 60 days for £50 offer £30-95 use for 6-10 months ?
this offer at present in my area ? (Pembrokeshire)

My disabled partner has been targeted by these people on her mobile, which she only has for emergencies. Wouldn't take no for an answer, she did hang up and turned the 'phone off.

MY FATHER 82 YRS OLD SUFFERS DEMENTIA HAS BEEN CALLED BY SANDAWELLBEING AND GAVE OVER HIS BANK DETAILS . BEFORE CONTACTING THE BANK FOLLOWING DAY THEY HAD TAKEN £19.45 FOR POMEGRANITE TABLETS WHICH THEY TOLD HIM WOULD PREVENT ANOTHER STROKE!! IM FUMING THAT ELDERLY VULNERABLE  PEOPLE ARE BEING TARGETTED ALL OVER THE COUNTRY

Contact Action Fraud.  The more people that do this the sooner these sewer rats will be stopped.

My 84 year old mother has fallen victim to this company also and has been sent product to the value of around £4,000 over the last 6 months. She gave them her bank details over the phone and they have taken out this money. We have now put a stop on any more transactions and the Police have directed us to contact the Fraud department of the bank to see if they can help with the recovery of this money.

My step-father in Manchester , who is in his mid seventies, was contacted by this company two weeks ago.... They knew about his Parkinson's and he thought the Asian male on the other end of the phone sounded like a medical professional.......He thought he was buying a months worth of Complete Multinutrient Formula Active Lifestyle..one a day...£14.00...he gave his bank details and they took £184.00 for a years worth of these pills that they said would help with his condition....
He phone me with the contact number , but it was not recognised....I contacted the Police got a crime reference number and also contacted Action Fraud and got another crime number ....PLEASE ...this company appear to  pray on vulnerable people ....they should be stopped ....the sooner, the better.......

Well done for contacting Action Fraud.  It would be good if everyone contacted by these lowlifes did the same. There are warnings in GP surgeries so it is obvious that these people are dangerous and something needs to be done.  Have you thought about contacting the BBC for an item on one of its scambuster type programmes?

I visited my elderly friend yesterday who had a phone call from a company called Sandawellness approximately a week ago.The gentlemen was quite demanding and talked her into giving her bank details to him and buying £492.04 worth of "Pomy".She obliged to get him off her phoneline.The package arrived yesterday.I was furious that this can be done.To use "bullying"tactics to an elderly lady with very poor health is beyond belief.I phoned her bank to cancel any further transactions only to be told they couldn't do anything as the company had to do that.I then phoned the company and spoke to a lady who sounded Asian.She was of very little help and told me to expect a later call.Eventually they called and I spoke to a pushy Asian man.He was determined for my friend to keep half the package and I insisted she didn't want them.He was persistant and would not take no for an answer.So much so I told him she shouldn't take any herbal medication as she was on enough medication.He questioned that even to my disbelief!At this stage I knew he was not going to give in so I asked him if he was a doctor.I advise everyone that receives calls from these people NOT to give your bank details firstly and don't get into a conversation with them.Tell your friends,neighbours,family.I am not satisfied with the company at all and I will do my utmost to make sure that Watchdog know of this company.I daresay they do already!Also Trading Standards and local papers.This should not be allowed.How do they get the phone numbers in the first place?My friend is ex-directory.I will go down every avenue I can to stop this harrassment of elderly people.It's criminal.

So sorry to hear about your mother.Read my post Peter.Get in touch with Watchdog as I am.The more people that do will hopefully make them realise how widespread this problem is.It's criminal and shouldn't be allowed.Also local papers,your mothers surgery,GP,family,friends,neighbours.Spread the word.I find it quite frankly sickening and I urge everyone who has been affected to do the same.

I am again angry when I read yet another post of an elderly man being harrassed.Whilst realising herbal/alternative medicine can be very beneficial it's not for these people to determine the individuals medical needs.Only a consultant can determine what each individual requires to help their condition.Some herbal medications can affect other medications so these people are wrong to push their products.It infuriates me.They are interested in only one thing and that's to get as much money as possible from the elderly with health problems.More disturbingly.....how do they know of individuals health issues?All the cases I have read of are definately a case for Watchdog.Action Fraud etc.I'm going to do my utmost to stop this.No one should have to go through this intimidation.My friend is frightened to answer her phone now.If we can all contact Watchdog maybe we can put a stop to this or at least make older vulnerable people aware of these scams.

Just had call from Sanda Wellbeing, lady called Shirly.  On phone for over 20 mins when she then gave me dets of price for Rosex tabs.  Told her was not interested and had people at the door so call terminated.  Feel sure they will be calling back but will just ignore number - hopefully they will get the message!
