I spoke to the Ministry of Justice, who were not happy with the way the company was working - it was not in keeping with the regulations set on them.
If enough people complain they will not have the Ministry of Justices authorisation.
Reality is if you give them your credit card details they will assume money before finding out if you are able to claim back money.
The info I received from the Ministry of Justice today lead me to believe that most of the cases outlined by Consortium Reclaim were not standing in a court of law because the claims are old now.
They play the hard sell because the money made upfront earns them a living.

The company has it's employees to put post on here. I once had a friend who worked for them and was told that when the ministry of justice do an audit, the owners of consortium reclaim have less staff in, and change what they usually on a day to day basis to try and persuade the ministry of justice that the company is being compliant with the ministry of justice. Little do customers and the ministry of justice know that as soon as their backs are turned the company will operate in a non compliant way, and go against the rules and stipulations of the ministry of justice. A very dodgy company not worth trusting at all!!!!

I have been getting calls from this number at least 5 times a day every day since 26th April. The first time answered and was brief'ed thru the credit card application before 2007 scenario. I stopped the dude there and said I was getting late for an appointment, and he promised that he will not be long. I was asked about how much credit I have left and how many cards. After giving him an approx figure he said he needed an exact figure. I said I will need to logon as it's all online. He said he will wait on the phone while I went online to check. I reminded him that I was running out of time for my appointment. So he continued with interest rate figures, and then suddenly the line went dead , all I got was a long tone.
Unsure if this is a scam or genuine as very convincing and then when you can't give them what they are after they will ditch you and then call you back to annoy you more. !!!!!! They will not leave a message. sometimes they call and the phone rings only once. How do I get rid................

What is your name so I can ask for you personally when I call back after the weekend.
Interested but worried about giving details over the phone. Paid 200 on a credit card 18 months or so ago for same service and then chickened out as ALL my financial details had to be given - insurances, dates of birth - everything to give someone a new identity - mine - short of photo id! What happens if your fee pushes you over the max that your card is allowed?
What is it that takes the time - a couple of months? What is the percentage of people who go ahead with a claim that get MORE than their initial fee plus the 10% of the claim amount back as Dimitri told me last night on the phone - as that is what gets added to the credit card when you start the process.
Is there a way of doing this if you want to do it all by post and not over the phone. Is this a company that can be approached to do the work by walking into an office and asking - person to person - or is it all hard sales over thephone. I have to say Dimitri was very pleasant - a lot of how is the weather and chit chat to wear me down but the essence of it sounds good - too good to be true... so... can you reassure me?

who were delete-uk and what stopped them operating?
Thanks - hope you reply. these are serious questions and I will make a decision once I have the answers.

Hi everybody id just like to point something out...

Yes i have recieved a call from this company and im so glad i did, if they hadnt contacted me then i wouldnt have even known about the current financial situations and the banks not being compliant!!
My bank certainly wouldnt tell me if they had missold me something or another

so for all you that are being negative i think you really should spare a moment, yes they are a company and yes they may charge for their services but at the end of it we dont get nothing for free in this world!!!

im glad they called me, in fact i called them back and processed and my debt has been settled so i think this is all just speculation and the facts speak for themselves!!

    Unhappy customer,
Had a call from these guys today, spoke with a lovely chap called Morgan first of all who explained to me that I may not have to repay my credit card debt, and that he could pass me to a ''senior advisor'' to get my claim started. Within seconds I was being bombarded with information by my senior advisor Ashleigh who with the charm of a rapist said I would be debt free within 60 days, and it would only cost me 1500 for the priviledge. Obviously I didn't proceed as I'm sure this must be some kind of elaborate fraud, hope nobody out there is stupid enough to fall for this.........

Are you reliable? It says here http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/consortium-technology that your annual return is overdue. I'd hate to trust my PPI claim to a company that can't get things done on time.

Firstly I would like to say to all of you that are ranting over being called, stop signing up to things using  your personal details e.g email, telephone number and maybe then you wont be getting as many cold callers!

Secondly to those of you who have time in your daily schedules to make the effort to write a whole essay on why a company is not legit i think you need to find a new job or hobby.....

Thirdly before you just post a comment having a rant read a few previous comments, you'll find that none state that they' ve had any problems with the company...

Lastly to those who give the company a chance like me and have had successful claims happy days ...WOOP WOOP..!!!

    :-)

Received a random call from this number last week. They are called Consortium Reclaim. The chap I spoke to advised me that they charge £420 or £440 PER CARD and can add this to the card before pursuing the claim therefore, you don't pay this but the credit card company does in the end.

I asked the guy if doing this would leave me with a damaged credit record and was told that it shouldn't! Not that it wouldn't, but that it shouldn't! Good choice of words!!

Anyway, the guy, who said he was a senior manager, asked me to get my credit card statements and they could get started. I told him that there was no way I could collate these that evening and that apart from that, I was not going to pay the requested fee. He asked me if I didn't think it was a little amount to pay for a large refund! I said that it would take me until Monday to collate the information he required and suggested he call back then. He advised that he was on holiday the following week and that he would call me upon his return from holiday.

Guess what? Today (the first day of this chap's holidays), I received 3 telephone calls but as I didn't recognise the number, I didn't answer. It was only when I called it back to see who it was, that I found out it was Consortium Reclaim.

I am beginning to get totally fed up with them. How they got a hold of my details, I have no idea1 However, I have no intention of answering ANY of their calls!!
