i haven't got an o2 contract, but this number keeps ringing me

silent call from this, I presume, marketing company.  Such calls are not wanted

I have been on o2 for a few years now, always on payg, and recently had this number calling me every few days. Just letting you know it's not just happening to new contracts. Haven't answered a single call...

this number is a welcome call from o2  to make sure all is well.THIS IS NOT A  SALES CALL

think its 02, some guy started banging on about phones, i asked him for him home number as i was at work and couldnt speak, he refused to give me his home number, i said was it because he found it annoying being bothered all the time by tw@ts selling things to him he doesnt want? he didnt reply...

who called me from this number 4 times i got calls.. eventhough i didn't answer it.

I had a contract phone purchased from Carphone Warehouse on O2 and was constantly receiving phone calls from this number. Then on 03/12/2010 I purchased a new contract phone and I am already receiving calls from this number again and also withheld numbers too at stupid oclock in the morning. I am getting really hacked off with this. Hopefully I have blocked the number on my new phone. I, like many others, don't like answering calls from a number I don't recognise. If it was that important that they wanted to speak to me... leave me a voicemail rather than constantly ringing me throughout the day!

I keep getting this number calling me "they want to discuss changing to O2 broadband"? They phoned me once yesterday at work and I told them I could not talk, they phoned me again that night ' I didn't answer it' and they phoned me again at work today?

They have also called my Son twice wanting to discuss changing to broadband, this is after he has told them he is NOT the householder and could not help them?  

I don't trust it !

Had 2 or 3 in the past couple of days. Only on PAYG so they shouldn't be ringing me about Insurance or anything. Anyway just rang the number back there and it's an automated service, the voice says it's a courtesy call from O2 to make sure "All is well and if there is anything you would like to ask" and if you have a query to ring Customer Services. Don't know if it is O2 or if it's a scam but the next time they ring I'll answer and see what they say.

Been with O2 for about 5years!! Wonder why all of a sudden theyre pestering me!!

I don't need or want a welcome call from o2. They are not in the hospitality business. I have been with them on PAYAG for years. This call only started coming in twice daily last week after I made the mistake of accepting one of their Top Up surprises. Just a nuisance call as far as I am concerned.

it's O2-want to sell you a home broadband...

I have had my 02 phone for 2 years and have started to get this call I have missed the phone call every time they have called however I have never had this problem with 02 before and I have always been with them, it's rather irritating and I don't think they will call back when or finished with them.

I rang O2 to see if could have the number blocked – answer no! because my phone is a Nokia.
They also said the did not recognize the number, so I asked them to ring it, which they did and to THEIR surprise found it was O2 and that it was a welcome message for new contracts – they could not explain why nobody spoke when the phone was picked up!!  You can get to the sender of this message by ringing 202 on the O2 network free.

I am so fed up with this number 08458630287, every time I ring and line cut off!!!! My mobile is O2 but I have no idea who is this number, I really want to block this number.

I've had my new O2 phone on contract for about 2 weeks and they've called me almost every day at around lunch time. I picked up once but didn't say anything and after about 30 seconds of silence I hung up. If someone asks for your password with this number, tell them the wrong password! It will be hilarious! haha
