- Nan replies to SarahCan you explain a bit more about your problem, please? Have you been trying to get a loan from them? If so how did you contact them originally and on what number? Did say you had been accepted for a loan but had to 'phone them on the Premium Rate number? Did you do that?
- Bartlomiej Pawlik| 1 replyCan you contact from me my number is 07586806153 my reference number is 1P2QW4
- Caller: Cash financial direct
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Nan replies to Bartlomiej PawlikThese rats will not 'phone you, but you have put your number on an open forum so anyone who reads it can 'phone you and that includes scammers. If you csan be bothered to read other posts on here you may get any information you require.
- Rosy| 3 repliesAm I wever going to get the refund of £53 Owed to me. I sent off the phone bill and was told I woullo have to wait SIX WEEKS to get such refund and that time has expired. Has anyone ever got their refund for calls back. This is stressing me so much.
- Caller: CFD Holdings
- Nan replies to Rosy| 2 repliesContact Trading Standards as this scum said on "Panorama" when they were exposed as con men, that they refunded telephone costs. Also report them to Phonepayplus via their website for abusing the Premium Rate System. Phonepayplus have already fined them for the same offence and will be delighted to do so again,, I imagine. Good Luck.
- Steve C replies to Nan| 1 replyCFD Holdings appears to be the new name.
This stinks to high heaven.
Despite all the publicity on various 'Watchdog' type programmes, people are still falling for this scam.
The Daily Mail and Daily Mirror have been very pro-active in publicising these parasites in their money /financial pages. And the power of the internet is very important.
I really hope that one day soon, these vultures will be wiped out. They are beyond contempt. The misery they inflict on the most vulnerable cannot be under estimated. - Nan replies to Steve CI wonder if the FCA would be interested? They seem to be doing the "new broom" bit since they took over regulation of financial services from the toothless FSA. When you look at the length of time CFD have been scamming people and the number of times they have been exposed as frauds, both in the newspapers and on TV, it makes you wonder just what a company has to do to be shut down permanently. Perhaps we will need to wait until MPs and Bankers need loans and come across them!!!
- Leah| 1 replyWho is this
- Caller: 01302597436
- Nan replies to LeahYou have reported the caller number as 01302597436 so why have you posted on this 0906 number? Were you contacted by the 01302 number and told that your loan had been approved but you had to 'phone the 0906 number to confirm? If so, I suggest you read some of the over 600 posts above yours and then keep as far away as possible from this company. By the way, there is no loan as no reputable loan company would deal with them.
- Helen replies to Previous Employer| 1 replyHi, I sent a copy of my itemised bill just as instructed below highkighting the numbers and costs and also a letter. On Tuesday the 15th April this will be 45 days since I posted the letter and I know they have it as I sent it recorded delivery. Could someone please advise me what I do next if I do noth get my refund, I am entitled to go to the Financial Ombudsman if I have not received my refund in 45 days. I did not have a loan and the calls cost me a total of £80.00.
Thank you - Nan replies to HelenContact Trading Standards and tell them what has happened. Point them in the direction of this website so that they can see the written promise to refund call charges. You should also complain to Phonepayplus, which regulates the Premium Rate Service, telling them that CFD are not honouring their promises. They have fined CFD once for breaking the rules and, no doubt, will be delighted to do so again.
- Nikki43CFD are scam robbing low life's don't reply to any of their messages, or call their numbers.
- Caller: CFD
- Carole Collins replies to Nan| 3 repliesI spent the day before my sons birthday trying to get a loan. No such luck. I have had my bank wiped out my credit rating destroyed and left with no money to buy son present. Has learnt from a very expensive and humiliating lesson
- Nan replies to Carole Collins| 2 repliesDon't let this scum win. Send a copy of your 'phone bill with the 'phone charge highlighted to their Freepost address. You can get that if you skip back through the posts on here and look out for what I call their Corporate Drivel which purports to give an explanation of how to reclaim your 'phone costs. You caould also report them to Phionepayplus for abuse of the Premium Rate Service and get them fined.
- Colin replies to Cash Finance DirectTold me I had a 1000 loan and to ring there rip of line the loan of a1000 0ver 12 I would only pay1083 back yer right they should be closed down they are worse than muggers
- darren saundersLook guys you need to find other things to complain about. Did you recive the money that you applied for? Thats all I want to kno, I dont care about fees, aslong as I get the full and total loan amount I applied for. Please get back to asap
- Caller: Cash Finance Direct
- darren saunders| 1 replyI am so sorry if I have offended anyone, I just want answers.
- Nan replies to darren saundersYou say you want answers, but the answers are in the other posts on here which you say you are annoyed about because people are complaining. Look at the number of people on this thread and then multiply it by all the other numbers which CFD have on here. There are well over 1000 complaints about this company on this website and they have one thing in common. No-one got a loan but what they did get was a massive 'phone bill because they had been told to 'phone this Premium Rate number If you don't care about getting a bill of up to £30 for a single 'phone call and wouldn't complain about it, then go ahead and deal with this lot. You should also be aware of the number of people who are still trying to get their 'phone costs refunded and, as a final point CFD went into Administration in January and then "phoenixed" under a slightly different name Fills you with confidence, doesn't it.
- Baco| 1 replyIn regards post above explaining the reasons why CFD charges for the phone call,
they told me (today) that the LOAN was pre-approved & all I had to do was make the call to their premium number ,
When I asked "why"?
The agent on the other end of the line told me "its to help prevent under 18`s from applying"
How that is meant to work I do not know?- Caller: CFD
