This number has been calling me every single day. I dont know who it is, so I never answer. Thanks to this site I now know. BLOCKED!

Call came from Laurel, Maryland at 15:01 Central on 7-13-13. Call not answered and no message left. Others advise that this is Healthstream Research, 7710 Montpelier, Laurel Md.  20703. Phone:301-575-9300. Fax:240-473-1305.

I do not know this number at all. They did not leave a message at all.

This phone number is hooked up with healthcare providers (ie: Hospitals, Doctors, etc) and they are only calling to see how your experience was at the health care provider.

They have called me several times. When I answered they very clearly and politely explained their reason for calling. when I said it was not a good time they quickly stopped and said they would try to reach me at a better time. Very polite and professional both times. I will give them the benefit of my feedback as I was very pleased with my hospital visit and happy to let them know they are doing a great job. This is a legitimate company as noted by Carol below.

Got two of these calls this week.. added them to my Call reject list on my cell.. now they are no longer a bother =)

Had a missed message on my phone today from HealthStream. No Message. Googled the company and could get no information due to my computer did not meet minimum standards to interface with theirs. Called the number and got a recording explaining the mission of Healthstream, that they were sorry I wasn't there to take part in the survey, said that they had 100's of surveys and would be calling back for this or some other survey and urged me to participate in their surveys to improve my health care. Got some corporate numbers from a post on this site and will try to see if I can get some payback.

This caller seems to be a company working with local hospitals to ask how your most recent visit or treatment went. (In my case, Providence Hospital Portland OR.) They are hired by the hospital, so the only way to opt-out is probably thru your hospital. And in the paperwork thru your hospital, there ARE places that say you agree to be contacted about your visit. SOME also have a check-box you can clear to opt-out.They aren't trying to be pests, just to do what they've been hired to do, and if you were NOT happy with your latest medical visit, THIS is the place to whine about it. Next time they call, when they ask for Other comments, I'll mention my objection to phone surveys & suggest using the mail.

funny, when I looked it up it says it is coming from Washington, DC, I just thought it was a politician, In that case I REALLY WON'T ANSWER. LOL

No one in my household have been in the hospital, so why would the medical community feel comfortable giving out my cell phone number??? This is absolutely crazy! I am in agreement with you..I am working and I am getting multiple phone calls with bogus ID's and they are burning up my phone. The DO-NO-CALL list absolutely does nothing. Filing reports against them do nothing, just waste your time. Is the government finally going to hold the telemarketers liable?? Right.

Sounds nice, but I haven't had any hospital stay.  They are calling my cell phone during the work day (when I am unable to answer) from multiple phone numbers, including 00000000.  Really?  This, my friend, is incredibly frustrating.  The patient must be asked if they would mind being part of a survey.  In my case, I am not and have not been a patient, so...why are these clowns calling my cell phone repeatedly?  Not acceptable.

Just called saying they were going to ask questions about my son being up at our local clinic/hospital because he was a minor.
told her as me important questions not survey. So I guess it wasn't that important they hung up.

When I was a debt collector, people always had your attitude. If they are a telemarketer they are REQUIRED to remove your number when you ask, and if they tell you they are NOT A TELEMARKETER then you ask what business they are in, and ask if you can still have your number removed from your system. If they still refuse, you REPORT THE NUMBER TO THE FTC AND HAVE BLOCK THE NUMBER.

I get a call from this number at least once a day.  They never leave a message and it is very aggravating.  If it is important to the caller I think they would at least leave message saying why they are calling and how they got my number.

I have been getting calls from this number lately. I don't answer numbers I don't know. They don't leave a message. One time on my voicemail there was heavy breathing. Creepy. I thought HIPPA protected ones personal information.

Hospitals are partially 'paid for performance'. The caller is from Healthstream who conducts a short survey on your recent health care experience. They will ask you to rate several categories on a performance scale of 1 - 10. Bear in mind that the hospital will receive NONE of the government funded monies unless you give them a rating of a 9 or a 10.

I, too, am tired of receiving these calls ... never leaving a message.
