- Carole1961I too have been scammed by these cowboy rogues. Why are they still in business? I was looking for an inexpensive yet nice kitchen to refurbish a house that i just bought. I am on a budget so went on the internet to find kitchen companies. I filled out a form with Uber Kitchens and they called me back. The rest of my story is the same as most the posts about this company. Scammers, cowboys, inferior product, poor customer service (if you can contact and get through to them), etc. etc. I am signing up to the Facebook page Vance Miller Must Be Stopped and reporting Uber Kitchens to Manchester Trading Standards whether it will do any good or not.

- MattThis guy is still producing a vast array of spam domains. I've created a list of them here;

I can't believe how much influence they're still having on Google.

I'm a carpenter and joiner in aberdeen, I fit a fair amount of kitchens of all shapes and sizes throughout the year, my advice for anyone looking for a new kitchen is to get a local, recommended tradesman who deals with kitchen suppliers (I use Howdens ) they will come out measure up and design whatever style you want, there's no salesman because your dealing with the tradesman direct and (Howdens) is dealing with the tradesman too, so he is going to try and get the best deal for himself and in turn will add on his "cut" then give you a price for the whole job. So your not really taking a gamble as such, just don't pay the full bill upfront, I usually ask the customer to pay for the kitchen on delivery and the fitting on completion of the job when they are happy with their new kitchen.
Cheers for listening - ArchieHi..
I've been buying from this company and i am waiting for the kitchen to be fitted and finished. Thank God that I have had no bad experiences till now. Everything is going as planned. I paid nothing but a 50 pounds deposit. it is only after I receive and check the kitchen will I pay anything else.. My suggestion is not to pay anything before you receive what you've ordered, just don't gamble with your money. - RowlandCan anyone please explain cos I am a bit confused here. How can a company who is only taking your payment after you receive and check your order be a scam? Is it only because they are so cheap that you become suspicious? what about those companies asking a 50% deposit or even full payment up front? will they be a scam too?
I would definitely take Keiththejoiner's advice that is I will not pay the full bill upfront. I don't want to risk the money that I have had to work hard to save. - RupertHi. I have been recommended by a friend to use this company after they bought their kitchen from them. Theirs was a nice modern kitchen. I can’t believe that they had only paid 1500 quid!, My first impression is that for that kind of kitchen, it would cost them at least 3000 quid. They’ve been using their kitchen for six months now and found no problems to mention.
However, I am starting to doubt after reading some of comments in this forum as a few of them said that it is a scam. Can anybody give me feedback that will help me. Thanks a bunch. - opijni| 1 replyMmmmmmm....interesting.....thanks to the spammers for drawing my attention to this thread as well. Well done chaps!
- Nan replies to opijniMe too. The spammers are really not doing themselves, or their "clients", any favours. Perhaps they have misunderstood what their clients want, which was to get threads showing negative posts removed. Unfortunately, all they have succeeded in doing is drawing attention to complaints.

Buying from a doorstep seller (whether or not the visit was requested by you),
If you have bought something - even information - costing more than £35.00 from a trader as a result of a visit to your home or place of work (whether or not the visit was requested by you), you will be protected by the Doorstep selling Regulations – or to give it its proper title: The Cancellation of Contracts made in a Consumer’s Home or Place of Work etc Regulations 2008. These regulations give you a cooling off period of 7 calendar days during which time you have the right to cancel and get a full refund. Just as with the Distance Selling Regulations, you must have been provided with a notice of your cancellation rights, otherwise the agreement may be legally unenforceable
Buying away from the trader’s normal place of business.
You may also invoke your 7 day cancellation rights for items over £35.00 where business is taking place away from the trader’s HQ or shop. This may include any of the following:
Your place of work
A trade fair
A one-day fair (such as a wedding fair) or a marketing presentation (such as overseas property)
It is also the case even when contracts are concluded at a later date, back at the trader’s shop or office – the fact that you have made your offer away from here is the important thing. Refunds
The supplier must reimburse you within 30 days of cancellation, without charge, unless you have been informed that you will be liable for the cost of returning the goods. If you have any related credit agreements, these will also be cancelled.- Caller: stilhaus kitchens cheapkitchens uk

Stilhaus Kitchens, ‘The Old Emmanuel Church’ Bold street, Warrington WA1 1DE Run by Martin Sersen along with Kitchen designs Lancashire and many others
I ordered my kitchen from StilHaus Kitchens Warrington and had their recommended fitters. I had read nothing but good reviews and sincerely hoped I would be able to add to them. This is how they treated me.
