    i too have been fooled. last week my kitchen was delivered they rushed in threw down and took the money. 3 doors are missing.and other stuff. The fitter did not turn up. i got my own fitter who was confused. i have been continually phoning and they are answering the phone and cutting me off. They know my voice now. They also use the name ROSSENDALE HOME INTERIORS. They are  rude and being sarcastic. Why havnt they been stopped there are posts going back to 09. Ridiculous. They are easy to get. Who wants to really get them ?? Rossendale i hope you read this any customer you get in the future could be the right one for you. Ripping off  disabled   and old people , shame on you. You reap what you sow. Karma. Merry Xmas

    The only way to get back your money ( this is a legal right) is to go through the small claims court. I had to do this and although I wanted to give up at times I stuck it out and 17 months later I have my full refund and Court costs.
    It is a long process and involves paperwork for the Court but worth it to see a result.
    The Law needs to change so people are not ripped off by the Vance Miller's of this world - but until the Authorities and the Legal system is changed to protect people properly this will not happen. Therefore the only way is to carry through with a Court case.
    Hope it helps to know that I was sucessful with my claim.

    Interesting add on to your post.  If you win your court case and the amount is over £600 you have another option if the debtor does not pay within the stated time.  You can get a High Court writ, cost £60, and the High Court Enforcement Officers pay the debtor a visit and either collect the money or goods in lieu.  If they succeed you don't pay any more money as the costs are added to the debtors bill.  If you lose you only have to pay a £60 admin fee.  There is a programme on BBC TV at 11.00am each day this week about the work of the High Court Sheriffs which is very enlightening.

    Hi Lorraine,

    where did you send your paperwork/court papers to as the court have just had all my court papers returned as not known at this address, I sent them to maple mill,cardwell st, oldham.
    I got done by these scum bags in december just before christmas and I am determined to get my money back.

    They need to be stopped.

    Hi I have just had the kitchen über design guy out to night and he designed my kitchen for £1600 and took a deposit for 100 .but soon as he left i went on the net and found out all this about him i have sent out email and text message to say i want to cancel he said he was from interior home designs of rossendale .

    Sorry for the late response to all the querys on here ( my Mum is in hospital and the last 2 weeks have been very stressful)
    The address in George St is a postal drop address - not the Head office as we were led to believe so not worth sending anything to that address. The original address ( as on my contract) was also the address where all my previous letters were returned from - stamped - addressee gone away !! (Manchester)

    Eventually all my dealings were through the Bailiffs in Oldham who visited the factory/warehouse premises in Oldham and were able to agree weekly sums of money until all the outstanding amount was paid.
    This was via an Enforcement Order which I had to apply for through the Court again - as K.U. did not pay by the date set by the Judge in my second Court Hearing.
    My advice would be - go back to Court and apply for an Enforcement Order to be sent to the Bailiffs in OLDHAM ! The guy who dealt with my case was wonderful and had been to K.U. many times before and obtained the monies outstanding for all of his cases. Good luck with your case - don't give up !

    We have also been scammed by this dodgy kitchen company. I so hate this scamming kitchens company with a passion. they were set up by vance miller (google him) and have various names and websites like solidwoodkitchens, uberkitchens, rossendale kitchens etc etc.

    their main telephone number is 0161 669 4785 but the person who set up the websites and is doing all the spamming is Matthew Leak

    I read all paperwork left by this kitchen fraudster gangster and im prepared to take them to court as paperowrk is confussing to customer if you know what your are looking for and im suprised trading standards have not picked up on this yet or maybe they have but waiting for hard evidence. Come on every one support trading standards and stop this company trading and possible get a criminal convicition for wrongfully informing customers of their poorly seconds kitchens not fit for sale. We lost £100.00  and woth loosing £100.00 as i can move on and order a new kitchen from a trustworthy company

    If you read the post just above yours, it looks like this is one of Vance Miller's operations.  He has a reputation as long as your arm for kitchen scams.  He was taken to court by Oldham Trading Stands last year and got off because they had not got all their facts right.  Check with your local TS and see what, if anything, they are prepared to do.

    I really wish i read this before i dealt with these animals ( not people).
    I am going through everything you have stated, and more!!!
    The only hope is that the designer is trying to help as he feels bad for what is happening but is told to tell customers that any issues are dealt with by the fitter! who didnt show up anyway and was so shifty that i was scared to use him. we found another fitter ( a friend) half the price, but was horrifed at the standard of kitchen/ mess we had received. I have no idea what to do, who to trust and how to get this resolved other than go to another company and try to get them to sort it out for us.
    Today will be the second day that we are waiting for the missing and incorrect items to be delivered, i will not be holding my breath as i am sure that this is not coming, and probably never will.
    I will also ensure that i tell as many people as possible to avoid these sick people to make any more money from people who really work hard for thie money.

    I'm now on this never ending list of people scammed by this company. Parts missing and broken, dreadful customer service, no response, on hold for hours etc. I did manage to get through today to be informed that new parts etc would be re delivered on Thursday 18th April but after reading all these comments I won't hold my breath !. We have been a little fortunate due to the fitter we had for the job being very good.(not connected with this outfit) as he was able to make the best of what was delivered. We paid £2375.00 the units are really poor quality the fridge freezer looks like it's fallen down a cliff and I still can't quite believe the conversation I had today with a female that called herself a customer service advisor. What astonishes me more than all of the comments and dreadful experiences people have had with this cowboy firm is the fact that the comments go back to 2009! How on earth are they still operating? I fully intend to use every means open to me in order to get what I paid for. There are processes to put into practice, they may take time however slowly slowly catchy monkey. My first port of call will be a letter to the delightful Mr. Vance Miller my last will be a court outcome and I will follow all the procedures in between. If it means solicitors, media and never ending correspondence I'm not giving up. I will start with saying thank you to all the people that have posted and taken some action, I hope you all have a positive outcome.

    Hi, I am really really worried after reading all the reviews on Uber Kitchens. I got delivery of it today but i wasnt home and a family member took the delivery and paid cash. I just discovered al lth reviews this morning at work and now I am having mini heart attacks as to what i will find when I get home. The fitters are supposed to come tomorrow. Not sure as what to do now?

    Check it out very carefully when you get home.  Make a list of any parts missing or broken.  If you have time contact Trading Standards and ask them what you should do about the fitters.  Sadly, this number is one of many used by various kitchen companies with different names, but all with Vance Miller behind them.

    I paid the £100 and was told the accounts department will sort it out and it would take 2-3 weeks. The email info@lancashireinteriorhomedesigns.co.uk does not work. So I emailed Fiona.cancellations@hotmail.com. I have sent a message to trading standards but not sure what actions they will take as this scam is been going on for years.
