Hi,Me again.Just to let you all know that if you go into the website "canyoutrustthem.com" there is a comment from a journalist from Manchester Evening News who is asking for people with complaints  about these rogues to e-mail him as he wants to investigate this "company".I for one have e-mailed him my tel.no. etc. and he will be in touch this Monday.Would you all please get in touch as the more complaints he has proof of the better. I don't know if this will help anyone but I have been to trading standards who won't take this Vance Miller on,I've e-mailed watchdog but no reply and have an appointment in October to raise court action,so at least in the meantime I'm pleased that someone is actually prepared to do something. you crooks. you have no idea how to treat people, your kitchens are crap and of very poor quality, please please give up making kitchens and try for a new career maybe lets say refuse collecting that way you can't screw people of there saving. disgusting bunch of people.

Hi, Lesley, I bought the kitchen from Kitchen Uber, Manchester, about a month a go.  I just managed to get someone in to fit the units, i was dreadful as they are some parts missing.  the units are very shaky not steady.  I had to get the drawer unit from my builder as they were no runner for the drawer I bought.  I ended up with argument with my builder as he could not complete the job. the reason was they were no support for the granite worktops.  Units very weak & made of cheap materials. they crack when you try to drill a hole.  I spend over £1000 for the whole kitchen.  rang them on 01616694780 but kept me hold for almost 45 minutes.  Asked for refund but he refused.  Just got in touch with trading standard.  they advise to write them a letter.  just send them an e-mail today 22/9/11 asked for the money back.  Keep the finger cross I can have all my hard earning back.  Please do not waste you money on them.  it is easy to go down to the local DIY stores a or a builder on your area who will plan & suppy you kitchen.

Hi memmem,I spent £3,000 on kitchen & fitter and still no kitchen! They will ignore your recorded delivery letters & you'll have them returned.I even sent one to Maple Mill as requested but still no ans.You will have to go to court. Please,don't give up without a battle Cheers.

Well actually, yes they deliver with missing units, missing doors, wrong hinges, no screws almost every thing is messed up, the sizes don,t  match, their are no holes in the door for hinges,all the measurements are wrong I can go on.
When you try to contact them they either hang up on you or put you on hold for such a long time that the phone disconnects. The customer service is a disgrace, I have never in my life had experienced anything like this, I felt like punching his face in the arrogant un-educated idiot! I am another very dissapointed customer who was ripped off by this company,so if you love your money do not go any where near this company. PS they always send really nice sales men,don,t be fooled by them they are all in the scam. SHAME ON YOU.

My parents had the same issue which weekend - they are left with a Kitchen with not the orignial doors and parts missing. Tried to call them 15 times in 1 day and was on hold most of the time. When you do speak to anyone they just don't want to know. I have just emailed the guy from the MEN News and hope he does a piece in the paper - something needs to be done about this company. I have also raised a case with Tradiing Standards about this company.

Like wise, I paid the deposit and now am having difficulty in arranging delivery.  I have called around 10 times and either get cut off or hang on the phone for over 15minutes then to get cut off.   Definatly wouldn't use again or recommend... Im thinking watchdog.  Would some one from the kitchen company or Steve like to call me?

Oh yes it is, try blackkitchen.co.uk, we had someone come out from them and the graph paper left behind with design on had Kitchen Uber as its heading, so get real.  The whole thing is a scam, just cheating innocent folk.

george they delivered mine last week and were rushing around to do the next drop was told to sign unchecked and ring if there was a problem. it would of taken me hours to open everything and check it off. i have 3 units damaged only 1 draw for a 3 draw unit parts missing off taps. i have been ringing them for 3 days now without getting to speak to customer services when asking the switch board to speak to someone else they put me on hold now i have lost my paitents with them i can not see me getting any new parts

I checked out the address for 'Kitchens Uber'  on Google street map, the address & trading estate is genuine but ring the administrator of that estate , (her phone number is on a bill board   at the gate) & she will tell you that 'Kitchens Uber' have never traded from that address!!!!
I have informed the police  as this is in its self is fraud

Thankfully i didnt go through with my order, i found all the bad press for this company after handing over the £100 for the plan, i was so stressed out that everything was going to be wrong, damaged, missing etc that i went over the plan with a fine tooth comb, it turned out if we had gone through with it the back wall cupboards would of been hanging over the kitchen door.... totaly wrong measurments, the design for the electric cupboard (built into the wall) would not of fitted and the list went on, we rang them up (45mins on hold) they changed the size of the cupboards to fit the wall, we rang again (50 mins on hold) no sizes given for the built in fridge and dishwasher, was told they would be 600's as they dont do any others, but i had ordered a slimline dishwasher???? after the 3rd call and stressing out even more and this was all b4 the kitchen had arrived my hubby rang up and canceled the kitchen as i was getting more worried each day and the thought of having to check every item was goin to take forever as everything was flat packed and i was going be on my own for delivery... we was told they would send out somebody els and design another kitchen free of charge (we declined) because the kitchen was due in 2 days they said they would cancel their end and for us to return the slip attched to the plan, which we did in the normal post with a first class stamp (luckily i always put my postcode and house number on the back) it was posted on 14th sept and today 5th october it has been returned via royal mail with a sticker on with different boxes to tick and the one ticked is.. Addressee gone away

I m feeling very relieved that i didnt part with £2500 i ended up using Dirty Dicks in Stoke (accolade kitchens) had a designer come out FREE OF CHARGE drew me up a plan and i got the same kitchen i was having off kitchens uber only thing different was it didnt include a built in dishwasher, still included a built in fridge and all the units as before, PLUS where kitchens uber said a corner cupboard wouldnt fit these redesigned it so it would fit, SO i got more units, kitchens uber was £2,500 minus £100 deposit for the plan..£2,400 on delivery to the driver..... Dirty Dicks was £2,980, £750 deposit the balance is due on delivery paid to the driver... BUT!! no boxes to check, PLUS!!!!!!!!!!! All the carcasses come delivered already assembled, all you have to do is attach the legs and screw to the wall and then attach the doors... job done!!! nothing gets delivered without something being missing but the difference here is it is a local company been at the same premises and running for 20 years, proper staff manning the phone and if your not happy with something or need help they come back out to you the next day...... and this was even after i had paid... PLUS!!! kitchens uber was known to this firm and they had seen them when they hit the news a while back and said i was not the only customer who had had problems with kitchens uber, Sometimes trying to find the cheapest kitchen is not always the best solution for a good kitchen at acheap price.... you get what you pay for,, the one i have now is from the company who fitted our kitchen 15 years ago and im only changing it because it is dated dark wood... i was soo tempted to go with the cheapest quote but im so glad i didnt.... I was informed kitchens uber only supply factory seconds, ex display and dis continued stock and under cut other suppliers to get the orders and not alot of people get to see what they paid for
I hope after people read this they think long and hard before buying from kitchens uber it took me a year to save for my new kitchen and i would of been devistated if it was all damaged or if i got left with half a kitchen... i wanted to believe the ones that got a kitchen out of the odd door being damaged or odd part being missing but i am so thankfull i went with my head and the majority of people who got ripped off by this company. i got their advert out of the local paper so assumed they were a reputable company... PLEASE!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM KITCHENS UBER!!!

Thankfully i canceled my kitchen, after all the bad reviews i went over my design with a fine tooth comb and if it had arrived it would not of fitted as it would of been hanging over the kitchen door by 6 inches, when we phoned  (after being on hold for 45 mins) they will just change the wall units to smaller ones, then i noticed there was no size for doors on dishwasher and fridge so after another phone call (45 mins on hold) was told they would be 600's as thats all they do.... but i ordered a slim line built in dishwasher??? then i noticed the cupboard/dresser they designed to go infront of my lekky metre was not going to fit as one side needed to be wider than the other.... and with all the bad reviews on checking evryuthing and doors would be damaged etc it was starting to stress me out. in the end we cancelled and went with Dirty dicks in stoke who gave me the same kitchen, except for the dishwasher but more units as where kitchens uber said a corner cupboard wouldnt fit these ones re-designed it to fit,, and it was in total only £480 more than kitchens uber but i so think the no stress is worth that bit extra and work with a company that is local and a shop you can return your goods to if faulty PLUS!!! all the carcasses come delivered ready assembled, paid £750 deposit and the rest on delivery without the stress of needing to check every box. which i am glad now i didnt have to do as there was loads of them
We was told to send back the cancellation slip on the plan by kitchens uber after we declined their offer to send out somebody els and do a complete new design free of charge... we posted the slip back on 19th sept 2011 and today 5.10.11 it has been retuned via royal mail (luckily i always put my postcode and door number on the back of my mail) the sticker is ticked for the box that says Addressee has gone away..... i think that says it all!  I do not reccommend anybody buying from these people however cheap it sounds sometimes the cheapest quote is not the best quote long term! im now 100% happy with my kitchen and that if there is a problem help is at the other end of the phone and should i need a replacement door i know i will get one the next day

Please everyone,contact your in court advisor-it's free.They will advise whether to take this beast to a small claims court.If you join the "Vance Miller must be stopped" facebook page,you will see that he's been robbing people for a while.One woman has posted today that she has been awarded her money in full.so he can be beaten! DO NOT IGNORE THESE, THEY ARE ALL CORRECT ABOUT UBER BEING RIP OFFS. we are with trading standards investigating this company.  They Are trading as many different names. they are rip offs if you are unsure contact a guy called Dan thomson at Manchester evening news. this company is BAD.
