I think it is worth going to the small claims court...does anyone want to join me....I will check to see if many can go to court together, or if it has to be done separately

I have started court proceedings and have a hearing date for 17th April. I don't expect anyone to turn up but I will not let this go!!!! As I am in Scotland I don't know if the procedures are different. I had to  name 'kitchens uber' on the forms as it's different for suing a named person as if you win your case-a person can apply to pay in instalments eg-£5 or so per week!!!! So make sure you sue the company.So far I've paid £65 for the papers to be delivered and I'm assuming they've been received as I now have a date,probably the first of many. You have to keep going with it otherwise these creatures are making money so easily!!!!N3Y3

well my friend has a kitchen being delivered, see if they get cash after its in their house, after reading all that is on the net,looks like fun times ahead.

I had a Russell Evans from Kitchen Units( thought was from Uber Kitchens as that is who I contacted) give me a quote for a new kitchen on Saturday, I did write a cheque for £100, but after reading all the reviews I cancelled the cheque and I have tried to e-mail the company to cancel the order, as stated I have the right to cancel within 7 days, but all the e-mail adresses given bounce back, and the address on the quote is wrong!!
I recieved a telephone call tonight asking when I would like to take delivery and informed the caller that I had canceled the order, only to be told that if "the right to cancel" was not deliverd to Kitchen Units the order would still stand.
Thankfully I was able to cancel the cheque and will not be out of pocket thanks to you guys.

Just googled Vance Miller aka Martin Serson he is the Russell Evans that came to do a quote for my kitchen,thankfully have seen that he has appeared on rogue traders no less than 4 times, goes under 11 different kitchen companies. Sorry for you guys but glad I have saved some money, good luck with all the court cases

I too have just been scammed by this company under the name kitchen units! My dream kitchen turned into my kitchen nightmare! Devastated! Cant believe people actually work for this guy and sleep at night. Only wished i would have been on the ball and researched this company before i parted with my hard earnt cash! Could kick myself for being so gullable!

Why are these [***] not in jail - even worse are continuing to trade and rip people off! I have just investigated this company and they are a complete scam. Why Office of Fair Trading and Trading Standards have not prosecuted these guys is beyond me.
Why o why does the British legal system take so long to get these guys!

I'm on this piece of [***]. I visit Manchester every few weeks and whoever is around when I visit will be sorry. I'll also be hacking the website and bring it down. He's fu**ed With the wrong person and as for them dippy staff he has!! They know exactly what they are doing. I'll be spending the weekend up there and I'll come away satisfied. I've got lots of tricks up my sleeve. I'll be punishing his company believe me.

I got the visit, I signed the contract, now I need to cancel it HOW TOI DO IT ?  they give me an email that does not exist.

if I send the form back am I sure my contract will be Cancelled?

still go through the motions to canx, but in their own words on the back it says it is not a contract but an advice.

Wish I never got the kitchen from them they ripped out the old kitchen put new kitchen on top of plaster that was falling off the wall nothing works and I have had to pay someone else to fit it properly rip of don't touch them

Don't  touch this company! I was looking for a cheap kitchen and come across this company.  He is know by a few different names. I work for a credit checking company. I run a report on the 2 company names and surprise surprise, no results. I done a little more digging and later found out Vince Miller is the guy behind it all.
With 2 dissolved companies behind him and he was disqualified as a director in 2005. Stay clear of them, one word to describe them DODGEY!

I too have this week been conned by this company. Wish I had done my research before hand. I was certainly fooled by their website.  I was led to believe by the salesman that I was buying a quality kitchen for a good price as space was needed in their warehouse for new stock arriving from China. The kitchen that was delivered is cheap with thin poor quality base units, damaged cupboards etc, etc, etc......... Have contacted the company to come and take the kitchen back as it is not what I expected and is not fit for purpose.  They have verbally refused. Have contacted Citizen Advice and Trading Standards and have sent a letter, as advised by them, to Kitchens Uber (Interior Home Designs of Rossendale) with list of complaints etc. But looking as far back as 2009 at Kitchens Uber reviews, it doesn't appear that I will get any money back.......  Paid £2204 for what I though was going to be my dream kitchen. Have cried buckets. My husband has started reassembling our old kitchen back together again as it is in a better condition than the one delivered. This Vance Miller and his partners in crime should be stopped.

i too have been fooled. last week my kitchen was delivered they rushed in threw down and took the money. 3 doors are missing.and other stuff. The fitter did not turn up. i got my own fitter who was confused. i have been continually phoning and they are answering the phone and cutting me off. They know my voice now. They also use the name ROSSENDALE HOME INTERIORS. They are  rude and being sarcastic. Why havnt they been stopped there are posts going back to 09. Ridiculous. They are easy to get. Who wants to really get them ?? Rossendale i hope you read this any customer you get in the future could be the right one for you. Ripping off  disabled   and old people , shame on you. You reap what you sow. Karma. Merry Xmas

The only way to get back your money ( this is a legal right) is to go through the small claims court. I had to do this and although I wanted to give up at times I stuck it out and 17 months later I have my full refund and Court costs.
It is a long process and involves paperwork for the Court but worth it to see a result.
The Law needs to change so people are not ripped off by the Vance Miller's of this world - but until the Authorities and the Legal system is changed to protect people properly this will not happen. Therefore the only way is to carry through with a Court case.
Hope it helps to know that I was sucessful with my claim.
