I see the government plan to legislate that nuisance callers must display their numbers; fine! When are we going to see legislation that makes these calls illegal?

Somewhere on this Forum there is a long list of the numbers used by these people.      Fines for nuisance calling are being reported almost daily now, so sit back and watch for their name being featured.       Watch BBC2 repeats of Sir Humphrey to find out the meaning of "Government plans" and "legislation".    Boy, did those scriptwriters know their stuff.  Just as true today as when first broadcast.

Just had a call from this number saying sorry all lines busy and not to call back as they would get back in touch but if I want my number to be removed from their database I should call 01618509573

I've just received 2 calls from them - if you call the. Umber back it gives you the option to have your number removed from their database. Fingers crossed this works - I've had 5 marketing calls in the last hour and I'm ex-directory!!!!

He uses 07885911337 on his gumtree adverts.( another  ten number block)

TPS registered phone switched off for three days due to volume of sales calls - 10 calls two days ago.

Continuous calls from these people and another one today.

I told the girl that we were registered with the TPS, but she said there is nothing she can do as the system is automatic.  She also said that she would get my number removed.  Every operator has told me that my number would be removed!  They are a real pain these people.

Fed up if the bank owes me money why don't they just pay it back because if I owed them money they'd be all over me like a rash

your right great stuff, very clever and correct,  wish we still got programmes like that.

Same again here. It is time that action was taken against the telephone networks for knowingly carrying calls from reported numbers, inside or outside the UK in violation of TPS

Boiler scam.....zapped number

Just had them ringing for myself and ex wife from 5 years ago!

I've had calls from this number twice today and both times it only wrang 5 times and them cut off, just as I picked it up.

A few seconds of call center roar then silence, I don't think they've succeeded in making a working connection in about four days. How does this ever work? When they do get through I blow my whistle or tell them where to go at top volume.

Call at least once a day. As I know it is not someone I wish to talk to I do not answer the phone.

Did not answer as we know nobody in Edinburgh. On looking up here appears to be cold calling company
