- Tgirl| 1 replyThis company us certainly NOT reputable! Yes, they do and have gotten work with casting agencies, but that is because they "cattle call". If you put out 1000 resumes, SOMEONE will bite. That said, both of my children have modeled and done acting - with a reputable talent manager. A real agent/manager only takes payment as a percentage of income. No work = no pay. Yes, pictures are expensive. I spent approximately $700 per child for a session (2 rolls film each), my choice of 2 head shots, and 100 prints with resume attached. They have done commercials, print work, movie extras, and music videos. Check out Connecticut Kids. They will be honest, they get work, and they have the connections.
PS Interface also calls from 203-307-2190.- Caller: Interface
- The recruiterI used to work for Interface as a recruiter and they are a pyramid scam!
They have no real reason to take pictures of little kids, they just like to empty the parents pockets.
This business seems very professional in what they do and they speak very well and know that this scam will soon run out once everyone finds out that this place should be shut down!
These people payed me hella money for nothing! for what to run around colleges risking myself going against the law and being obnoxious to others when I was being forced to recruit these college students. Knowing that they wont get the job or if they did I would get a 60$ bonus if they got hired these people would fire the person they just hired in a day or a few hours. It's basically likea game but it is a PYRAMID SCAM! beware!- Caller: 203 3915800

- MannyHey everyone,
Just YESTERDAY I was at the crystal mall in Waterford, CT. Me and my girlfriend approached this modeling display as a joke, but I was still curious as to how the whole modelling thing works. Now I am in no way interested in becoming a model, but I was told that they also offer oppurtunities for musicians. I am a 21 year old college student who has been singing and playing guitar for over 6 years, and I do have an interest in furthering my musical career. I was told that they put together recording demos for those that sing, and that my guitar playing was a PLUS but not required, but the girl didn't name any profesional studios that they work with, or give me any testimonials on those that have done it before, just the modelling. My friend has professional studio recording equipment in his house, and ive been recording with him for 3 years!! Always does good work!! I asked if I could submit my demo that I already have, and I showed her some of my recordings on my itouch. I filled out a card and all She told me was that id recieve a call in a few days with a lot more info, this morning i had a missed call from a number 2033072190, but no one left a message. I assumed it was them. I called back and there was no answer, the phone jus constantly rings. After looking at all these comments Im very uneasy about even dealing with these guys. Ive been scammed before by that GP industry Kirby Vaccuum company *(for those of you that know them) so I refuse to dig myself another hole. Thank you everyone for your feedback, I am sorry for your bad experiences but thanks for the heads up. If they call again Ive got LOTS of questions for them. - Manny replies to TgirlHey everyone,

Getting headshots done at walmart is cheaper and better then interfaces work LOLOLOL
- TinaThis is a heads up for anyone who has signed the photo shoot contract. I made the mistake of signing and when I got home I looked up the company on BBB and found this site. I read the comments and realized I made a big mistake of trusting these people. I read over the contract and it clearly states that if you want to get a refund back from the company you must put in a written request to cancel within 3 days of signing the contract. So write a letter stating that you want to cancel the agreement and you want a refund. Make sure you take it to the post office and have it certified mailed and I suggest you also get confirmation so you can check when the company has received it. That will be your proof that they received your written request. So they can not say that they did not receive anything because they have to sign for it and you can also print out a copy of the delivery confirmation. *Again it must be postmarked within the 3 days of signing the contract* otherwise you will have a hella time getting a refund if at all. Be persistent and keep calling to check up on the status of the refund. It took me over a month to get the refund. Every time I called they would give me the round around and they got my return address wrong, etc, etc. Keep on them until you get the refund in the mail. Trust me they DO NOT want to give you your money back. When they got my request to cancel I got a call from the manager trying to pressure & convince me not to cancel. Then after we hung up a second later I got a call from the so called VICE president. What a bunch of BS. After all the messages I left with the front desk requesting a phone call back from the agent I met with the day I signed, NOTHING until I written a not so nice email and accused them of not being professional and threatening to report them to the BBB and Office of Attorney General. Stay away from this company!!!! They should be ashamed of themselves trying to rip people off of their hard earned money.

- INTERFAKE.REP replies to another teen girli actually work for these people and unfortunately the best thing i can say is to call 203 391 5844 and ask to speak with a manager (paul). tell them you have been getting repeated hang up calls and if th3y continue to call your phone number you will contact a lawyer or the police. but beware if after they mark you "not interested" if you call back your # is back in the system. thats the best i can say sweetheart and again i apologize for their disrespectful and unprofessional ways.
- INTERFAKE.REP replies to stacyok sweetheart you may have gotten that 1 job bc you actually have talent the problem with interface is that they will sell a package to a dead cow. i have been working there for a year and trust me i have called autistic kids, down syndrome kids and my bosses tell me to book them, im sorry but you are a fool if you believe they did anything more for you then take you money.. hey for 5 grand ill go through the postings for open casting calls and get you all the info ok?
- INTERFAKE.REP replies to Ashleyi work for them and im going to tell you this, they dont need you they need your wallet. i have called down syndrome and autistic children and got them to come in so that the "directors" can sell them a 2 thousand dollar photo package. if you honestly have talent you DO NOT NEED THEM. they will seriously take money from anyone and the "directors" primary goal is to sell bc they work on commission only they are not paid a salary. trust me they have no experience judging good talent.
- INTERFAKE.REP replies to bethyyou are dead wrong. if you are working with an AGENCY you never pay for anything bc they believe you will be profitable to them if they sign you on. an agency takes a % of what you make per job to fulfill there cost. you should never pay for any photos with an agency. however if you go through a marketing compan such as interface it is acceptable for them to charge you bc they do not take a % of your earnings but there is also no guarantee you will get work either, i work for interface and to tell you the truth if you came in with one arm no teeth and burns ALL OVER YOUR FACE THEY WOULD TRY TO SELL YOU A PACKAGE. and that is the truth, if you have talent go to an agency there are plenty of them all over the place and if they say say they will work with you then invest in a place like interface bc then you know u have talent. they will not tell you thw truth during the eval they will say you are 110% what the agencies are looking for, if you did truly have talent they would be useful to them but getting the "directors" opinion is asking to get ripped off bc they work strictly on commission no salary so there primary goal is to sell packages or they dont get paid.
- INTERFAKE.REP replies to interFACE is GREAT!!!!you are sadly mistaken if you believe anything you just wrote here. i work there and they will legit sell a package to a dead cow. i have been instructed to book appts with children with autism and down syndrome!!! the scouts in the mall are high school kids and the callers are mostly in the teens and early 20's.. im 22.. the directors are nobody's and work for commission only so if they dont sell they dont get paid. if your friends had success then they actual had the potential but they are very dishonest about who does and does not have the potential to be a model or actor and thats why people are upset.
- INTERFAKE.REP replies to staceysweetheart they havent even been in business for 20 yrs. i work there and they are a scam bc they will sell photos to a dead cow if your sister had success it is bc she actually possessed some talent! the point is that they have instructed us to book ANYONE, NO ONE IS ACTUALLY RECOMMENDED BY A SCOUT! the directors are nobody's. one of the girls that used to work in the call center was there for 3 months and she was translating for the "directors" and now she is a director! she has NO FORMAL TRAINING OR BACK ROUND IN THE INDUSTRY! they work solely on commission meaning if they dont sell they dont get paid so obviously they will sell to anyone who comes in and as a caller i get anyone to come in that i receive on my computer screen, and as a scout they recruit anyone who walks by in the mall, movies, six flags, ect.
- INTERFAKE.REP replies to Ramim sorry to have to admit that i work here. i am a caller and you know what i hate every minute of it which is why i come to sites like these and expose them. however i have bills to pay too and a job is a job and as soon as i can find something else i will be leaving this sh*t hole for sure! but until then the best i can do is try to educate the public on there dishonest and unprofessional tactics.
- INTERFAKE.REP replies to i used to work for this company.I currently work for InterFACE which i have nicknamed InterFAKE.. I woyuld like to give forewarning to any family interested in taking your child here, DO NOT DO IT. What the previous ratings say s completely true. We are instructed to tell you it's a no-cost eval and that part is true. If you ask about cost we cannot give you a range we are to say "the only cost you could incur is if you wanted to purchase marketing materials for XXXX, this could be a photo shoot, website or stylist and is something you are not obligated to do. As far as price because i haven't seen XXXX i do not know what the director will recommend for XXXX and he/she may not need anything at all depending on how marketable they are". Now allow me to tell you how the "directors" are nobody's we have had call center employee's be recruited as "directors" and their primary goal is to sell they work on COMMISSION ONLY. Your child was not given a GREAT RECOMMENDATION everyone who fills out the card gets called and trust me you will receive 4-7 calls per day everyday and for that i apologize. now what i can say in their defense is that they do get clients auditions and do have several success stories. however, they would sell a package to a dead cow. i personally have made appts with parents of down syndrome and autistic children and felt horrible doing but my managers listen on the phones and god forbid they heard me cancel i would loose my job, which i desperately need. if you truly believe that your child has the potential to be a model or actor go to an agency or look for open casting calls. there are several different companies who are running this scam on people. And for the record a portfolio is NOT something you can purchase it is a resume for actors/models. What i mean by this is it's a collection of work they have already done. and if you are working with a legit AGENCY you should NEVER pay for ANYTHING, they take a percentage off the kids earnings to cover their cost. an agency will only work with someone who they believe will be profitable to them and this i how you know that they have faith in your kids. PLEASE do not be fooled by the persuasive person on the phone or the so called "director" in the studio. if your child has the potential to be a model you shouldn't have a problem finding them work on your own as long as you are dedicated to putting in the footwork and have the resources to know where to look for work. again i am apologizing to all the families i may have gotten to come in but it is my job and it pays my bills. as soon as i can get out of there i will but until then stand your ground and just say no!

- INTERFAKE.REP replies to KZif your kids actually have potential they will get work through interface. however if the "director" sold to you just because i feel very sorry for you and that is not sarcasm. they do actually market the kids but if they dont have potential, ina highly competetive field it is highly unlikely they will get work. see they actually do work with over 200 agencies and companies this is not a lie, but they will tell anyone that they have potential and this is where the scam comes in.
